Location for meeting was very good, easy to find and guides were there early. Pete was very good and was clearly very knowledgeable and friendly. Sachsenhausen was very crowded with school tours and Potsdam is a very pretty location.

The tour offers rich historical insight, and it is compelling to observe the key references for both the concentration camp and Potsdam. The sites were selected well, and the pace felt consistent throughout. Our guide, Raquel Adanero, performed exceptionally in addressing our questions and shaping historical images for our understanding. It is highly recommended for anyone visiting Berlin.

While it is disturbing (as it should be), the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp is really a must-see. It helps bring into focus how easy evil can penetrate our world. A stark reminder that this should never happen again. The Potsdam visit was a different vibe, kind of like coming up for air. It was all about the elegance and extravagance of royal power. Pete (our guide) was knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and funny. He knows the material well and presents it for all to understand. I thoroughly enjoyed the day. McHale, our driver, was wonderful as well. All in all it was a great experience and I would recommend it for everyone.

It was both an educational experience (first half) and a pleasant experience (second half). Our guide Peter even tok us to an additional bit of Potsdam before reboarding the bus. The only bit I wasn't too excited about was the fact that both English and Spanish groups were in the same bus and guides had to alternate.

Honestly, this was a very average tour. First, we did not know it was a combined two language groups on one bus. That alone cut our time with the guide in half (we missed looking for Checkpoint Charlie because the Spanish guide was speaking). Second, with the exception of one interesting story per stop, there was less detailed history of all stops than we had expected. Because one of us speaks Spanish, we learned that the Spanish guide gave much more historical info than our guide, Peter. We turned on Google Translator to hear the 4x more info that the Spanish guide was giving (awkward and obvious gap). Peter, our guide repeating himself constantly. Frankly, we didn't see much in the afternoon. Overall, while Peter was a nice chap, there was not enough value added to choose these type tours over going at our own pace with Google. For example, his not giving us basic info like the meaning of Sachsenhausen and Sanssuci.

Peter was very informative and knowledgeable answering all of our questions. Bus ride was comfortable and our group was a good side of 18. The museum has lots of horrific details of surgeries & experiments inflicted on the pows. Finished off with a lovely food vibe to Potsdam.

This tour was exactly what I hoped it would be! Our guide Peter was so knowledgeable and friendly. Our visit to the picturesque Potsdam was the perfect cap to a heavy, yet important visit to Sachsenhausen. Definitely recommend this tour!

Our English tour was combined with a group on a Spanish tour. We were told it was only to share transportation. However, it was non stop switching from English to Spanish during hours of bus riding, which was very distracting. Because the guides had to share the time for speaking we felt we missed a lot of history. Our guide was fine, although he did repeat himself a lot. Also, we should have had advance knowledge that we would not stop for lunch until 2 pm. It was a long time - 8:30am until 2 pm, with no time for eating, as the driver didn’t allow food on the bus. I would not recommend this tour due to the format.

Do not book as a solo traveler or as a person who does not look like your typical tourist visiting Germany. If you book, prepare to be singled out, targeted and harassed every time you board the bus. Do not look for your tour guide Mathais for assistance as he too encouraged the behavior. If you can tolerate embarrassment and bias all in the name of sight seeing and facts then book. However, to be treated fairly and like a human being , spend a tad more and book with another company. The sights were great and the tour guide was very passionate and knowledgable however you cant enjoy as you dread everytime you enter the bus.
