Rohan was a fantastic guide, his passion and knowledge on the tour was excellent. It was an extremely hot day and he tried his best to keep everyone well looked after in the heat.
The tour of this concentration camp was fascinating. It was an easy bus ride and took about 55 minutes. The tour guide talks much of the way, so it kind of helps pass the time. The camp itself was rather wide open with just a couple of barracks still remaining. I kind of thought I’d see more of what it was like in the actual stuff from back then. I guess there wasn’t as much as I thought it would be, but it was still an amazing experience. Nikolai was our tour guide and he did a fantastic job. The actual tour and the concentration camp was two hours and it was walking to the different areas or buildings that were highlighted. Still blows my mind that’s something like this could actually happen. All in all this was definitely a worthwhile tour.

Our guide Nickolas is incredibly knowledgable - the learning experience began as soon as we were seated on the coach and left for Sachsenhausen. Nickolai was sensitive to the camp and the stories shared with us. We highly recommend the experience and Nickolai as a Guide.

My time at the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp was not only a humbling trip but also an informative one. Our guide Campbell, took the opportunity on the shuttle trip to the camp to bring us up to speed on history of WW I and WW II and the events that preceded the creation of the camps. The entire time we spent at the camp with Campbell was like opening a history book and absorbing the powerful history of the guards, prisoners, and overall motivations for what would eventually become the holocaust. While the tour may be hard for some to do, I’d highly recommend doing this one to get the full experience and the history. I would say this tour was the highlight of my trip.

A very moving experience! Even though the majority of prisoner barracks are gone you still get a feel for the shear size of the camp. As my father's uncle was executed here this place had a special meaning. Finding his name and his story on one the exhibits was an unbelievable moment. We went for the self guided tour (€3.50 per person) , which started off okay. However it is easy to get lost as there is no proper path lined out and the free map is confusing. Anyway the visit to Sachsenhausen was truly educational. If you in Berlin for more then 3 days we would highly recommend a day trip to Sachsenshausen
