Rosa and Sean prepared a delicious aperitivo for me, and I tried my hand at making pasta and tiramisu while enjoying the aperitivo along with some white wine. What I loved was that it wasn’t just about having fun—the two of them also gave me thorough, hands-on guidance on how to actually make everything. They also spoke slowly and calmly with me, which made me feel completely at ease — as someone who isn’t confident speaking English, I really appreciated not feeling any pressure to keep up. The pasta I made was tossed with their family’s secret tomato sauce, and it was truly outstanding. Eating it on the rooftop of the apartment made it even more special. The lemon pasta Rosa made was delicious too, and the tiramisu was fantastic. As someone visiting from Japan, getting to spend time in a local’s apartment was a valuable experience in itself, and the interior was so beautifully done that I couldn’t stop admiring it. On top of that, I was grateful they recommended some great restaurants in Naples. Thank you for such a wonderful time—next time, I’d love to explore the local markets too.

A truly special and authentic experience in Naples.
A truly special and authentic experience in Naples.
I booked a small-group cooking class and, as it turned out, I was the only participant that day. What really impressed me was that Rosa and her team still offered the full experience with so much warmth, time and attention. Nothing felt shortened or rushed — quite the opposite.
Before cooking, we walked through local markets and beautiful corners of Naples. Rosa showed me bakeries, cafés, cheese shops and places I would never have discovered on my own — not in a touristy way, but in a very authentic and personal way. We had coffee and pastries together, talked about life, Naples, food and culture, and I immediately felt welcome.
The cooking itself was great fun, very relaxed and full of passion. On top of that, I was offered wine and cheese, and Rosa also gave me wonderful tips for my stay, including yoga and a beautiful evening event that I actually went to.
For me, this was much more than a cooking class. It felt like being welcomed into real Neapolitan life for a few hours. I’m very grateful for the experience and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for something authentic, personal and heartfelt in Naples.

An amazing day in Naples!
We had an amazing day with Piero in Athens. He did an incredible job showing us around Naples and then welcoming us into his beautiful home to prepare our lunch. Everything we made was delicious. He exceeded our expectations in every way possible. We would not hesitate to book a Cesarine experience again and definitely would love to spend more time with Piero.

Beyond disappointing
I write this as it was beyond disappointing and I would suggest people not to go. At the last minute the host changed the meeting point which was fine.
I was super excited to cook but got there and the host was sick and sent her husband to take me.
They should have canceled which would have been the ethical thing to do so that I could have chosen a different tour
But instead they decided I should have a new tour that they made up on the spot included zero cooking rather was 4 hours walking around Naples which I had already done without telling me. The host spoke poor English and often had to pull out Google translate and had me very confused to what I was paying $135 usd for
I want to request a refund and I don’t believe with this level of ethics they should be allowed to run tours as they have essentially stolen this money off me and been dishonest. If I could report them I would

Catherine, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We’re truly sorry to read this, especially as our intention is always to provide a warm and authentic cooking experience.
We sincerely apologize again for the unexpected situation that day due to illness. It was never our intention to disappoint you or to offer something different without proper clarity. We understand how frustrating that must have felt, particularly when you were looking forward to a hands-on class.
Your feedback is important to us.
Thank you very much,

Feel their love for cooking and company!
Rafaella and Enzo are the sweetest couple!!! From the moment I met them I felt their warm hospitality. We started with a pleasant stroll through their town. They were sharing interesting and historical facts. I loved the large, indoor farmer's market we visited to pick up our cooking ingredients, small bakery and other cute little stores. Since I like fennel so much she decided to incorporate that into a salad. In their beautiful, historic and well-preserved home I was welcomed with some aperitivi, with sun-ripened treats from their backyard and little mozzarella di bufala balls that were divine! Rafaella showed me the tricks and gave me insider advice on how to knead the pasta dough. I thoroughly enjoyed creating a main course and dessert with them. And eating it all at their beautifully laid out supper table in their company was the cherry on top. I highly recommend this experience and I will definitely book them again when I'm back in town!! From downtown Napoli the Metro takes you to their station in less than 30 minutes plus a 15 minute walk straight to their house. Very well worth it!

Excellent!!!
Our chef, Emanuela, was wonderful. We visited the market to buy cheese, etc. and then made delicious ravioli and tiramisu which we ate on her balcony with an amazing view. She suggested that her driver pick us up at our apartment because her home is a bit hard to reach. He also drove all of us to the market and, on the way home, he and Emanuela gave us a tour of some of the sights in the area. An amazing experience!

Must do!
Anna S. is a wonderful host and credit to the Nappolese people. She welcomed us into her home, taught us how to make pasta and Tiramisu - lots of laughter, joy and sharing of cultures. Must do to learn not only about Neapolitan cooking but also the people who live there.
