The DoDublin Hop On Hop Off (HOHO) bus tour was a wonderful way to get an overview of Dublin as well as transportation to major sites. I highly recommend the live tour buses, so much so that we were willing to skip a bus to get on a live tour bus. Our guide Karl (with a K - as opposed to the singing Carl (who I’m sure is also wonderful ) was very entertaining and informative. His stories, both personal and about the areas, gave us a good sense of Dublin. The DoDublin HOHO stops were conveniently located and the interactive map helped with the next bus arrival. The interactive map also has icons to indicate what type of tour is offered live or recorded. We chose the 48 hour tour - doing half the circuit the first day, and finishing the second. The route was expansive going all over Dublin and we drove by places we would not have seen otherwise. A good value for the experience.

Brilliant way to get around Dublin with very amusing tour guide drivers telling you about all the landmarks and history as you pass. We got the 2 day pass which is excellent value. we stayed on the bus the first day to learn more, and then second day used it as a ‘free bus ride’ to visit the areas we wanted to see properly

What a great way to see the city! I suggest you do this on your first day in Dublin to get the lay of the Land. I started the day with one bus that just played a recorded narration of the stops. Then I stopped for lunch and hopped on for the second half of the tour with a bus driver that narrow rated the stops adding his own wit and wisdom. I would definitely do that again. With the ticket you get both the Dublin city tour and the Dublin docklands route which are two different routes. Plus you get a ticket to the little Irish museum which I had every intention of going to but just ran out of time. I would do it again!

Great way to see the city at your own pace. Convenient stop locations. Great, funny, local drivers who will share interesting information for each stop.

Today 5pm, we had a great driver who was very informative but had great banter with the 2 Scottish girls here for westlife concert. Think he said his name was pat if we didnt "rate him", lol. Think started with a D (genuinely ) apologies. Great trip round the city 100%

Simple and easy to arrange and book. Recommened. Close stop and driver very helpful with loading our bags.

The hop on hop off bus was a great introduction to Dublin. It took us to all the main attractions. Our guide was fantastic. Very informative, interactive, funny, lots of fun facts. Thanks Ger! Also went to the Little Museum where we learned lots of history, interesting. A great way to start off our trip around Ireland.

The guide we had on several Hop Ons was great, though we got him so frequently we questioned the number of actual buses. The first morning we went to Stop 25 to get on because the information we got on line from the company said that service started at 9 am and buses came to every stop about every 20 minutes. After 50 minutes of no buses (lots of red buses went by) we walked to Stop 3 where there was an attendant who explained that you had to go to the low number starts in the morning for the service to actually start at 9 am. Other than that, we enjoyed the service but we sure wish they had shared the information about starting the morning at a low numbered spot. Trip Advisor said this was the number 1 rated Hop On Hop Off service but we suspect that rating occurred when there was only 1 service. We say way more Red buses than Green buses.

The driver doesn’t tell you where the bus will be at the end of the activity you get off for. We felt that this was a waste of money.
