This tour took you literally everywhere in Dublin. Our tour guide, Owen was very informative, funny and entertaining. He gave wonderful tips for many of the locations and explained Dublin's landmarks and history so well. Hope to do again some day!

Bus tour was great and very informative but the tour guide Mike made it even better!

It's a great way to get your bearings in the city of Dublin. Driver/guides were helpful & informative. We hopped off & on a few times. It was easy.

Our driver Johnny was both knowledgeable and funny. He kept us informed throughout the the whole tour. Not a moment of silence he was always filling in the gaps between sites with a jovial anecdotes on history. I recommend never letting Johnny go. He is a gem of Dublin. I was disappointed the tour had to end but I came away well informed of Dublins rich history and a smile on my face.

The buses were clean and came around frequently. Since Dublin is a relatively small city we used the bus to take us around to the various sites that we wanted to visit. We bought a 48 hour pass and it saved us a bundle from getting taxis or trying to figure out the public busses. Highly recommend.

I booked tickets for the Big Bus Tour in Dublin for 5/16-5/17/26 after seeing wonderful reviews on this platform. However, my experience was terrible. There were long waits at every stop even though the website claims that buses run every 20-30 minutes. My family waited at stop 17: Royal Hospital Kilmainham/IMMA for 90 minutes on 5/17 and no Big Bus ever came, meanwhile multiple DoDublin and City Sightseeing buses came to that same stop while we were waiting. It seemed like there were only 2-3 Big Buses running for the entire route those days. The app was useless as it did not continually update the location of the buses or their ETAs and there were certainly no explanations of the delays such as route closures, etc. We ended up having to take an uber to our next location. This was very disappointing and a total waste of time and money. One of my family members made a similar review and the company told them they “might have been traveling with one of our competitors”. I am here to tell you that we were indeed traveling with Big Bus Tours in Dublin. I do not recommend booking with this company.

We got the 24 hour and night tour ticket, both were fantastic! The day tours give you a great overview of the city we knowledge and entertaining guides - it's almost a bonus that they drop you near main attractions. All of the drivers we encountered were incredibly generous with those on the tours. The night tour was a wonderful extra. Mike was our guide and he was keen to show us sights/provide information that is not usually given on the day tour. He was energetic, entertaining and incredibly friendly! As this tour functions as it's own complete tour we were able to gain alot more information than we otherwise would've.

Excellent from start to finish.We purchased the package which include 72 hours hop on hop off,walking tour,Wicklow day trip and evening bus tour.Our initial contact was with Leilay who was really helpful and informative and she spent a lot of time explaining our options.We then had the pleasure of meeting Owen when we first boarded the bus, his commentary was witty,informative and really helped us get a sense of the city.He is an experienced and wonderfully enthusiastic guide.The following day we boarded for the day trip to Wicklow to be greeted by Owen who was shadowing the driver Gerry on this new experience tour .What followed was the best tour we have experiencef for years, Gerry has an extensive knowledge of Irish history and this informed his delivery which was fantastic.He started with the origins of the Irish people which included the history,folklore,politics and culture all delivered with a passion and humour. He even sang a beautiful song supported by Owen to highlight a particular poignant moment in Irish history.He finished the tour with an explanation of contemporary Ireland and throughout the entire day we were captivated.Outstanding tour and overall experience with this company, thank you Gerry and Owen for an unforgettable day .

Sorry I couldn’t make it that day due to interruptions in travel.Still visiting now maybe try it again while we are finally here in Dublin 😢😢

I have been on many Hop On-Hop Off tours in several cities. They are just the thing to do for when there is little time, or a lot of time as a way to get across the town. The Dublin tour did not disappoint. Of course it's hit or miss with the bus tour guide, but I have never had a dud. We were able to use this bus to get to our main ticketed appointment at Kilmainham Gaol Museum. Very convenient, and well worth the cost for 24 hour full access.
