My husband and I visited The Little Museum of Dublin at the beginning of September 2026. We weren't sure what to expect and still don't think you know even once you're there. It is such a magical place! The staff was amazing from start to finish. Our guide Saul was very enthusiastic and shared so much history and information about Ireland and the museum. And his River Dance performance was par excellence. It was so different from any other place we had visited and was highly entertaining and enjoyable. It's an award-winning experience for good reason!

The most entertaining guided tour I've ever taken! Evan was a hoot! He went through Irish history in just a few minutes while keeping the audience engaged. He even sang for us in the end. What a natural entertainer! The only thing I missed was a bit more time to spend in the rooms studying the artefacts. So many details, so little time! I was glad though to be able to take my time in the U2 room without the next tour group breathing down my neck. In the gift shop the line to pay was long and there was nobody behind the counter. The personnel were all busy taking in new groups.

This is an amazing collection of various memorabilia and historical pieces. Our guide Saul was amazing and informative. It was great fun and could easily take up a couple hours. A nice introduction to Ireland.

I cannot recommend it highly enough. A journey through Dublin’s history, explored through a collection of vintage artefacts, narrated in the style of a storyteller and with touches of humour. Nice and helpful sraff. Our guide, Cal, was brilliant. The exhibitions on Mandela and U2 were an extraordinary addition Don’t miss the chance to make a call from the booth with an analogue phone.

A thoroughly charming crash-course in Dublin history. While undeniably a museum, the experience is far more like visiting the home of a particularly long-lived and eccentric Dubliner- one who’d been fairly bursting to catch somebody who’d been away on everything that had happened since they’d been gone. Our guide, Saul, couldn’t have been more engaging or better-suited to it. While I feel like the time estimates are fair, we took the last guided tour of the day and closed the place down and still felt we were skimming quite a bit on our 1.5-hour visit. Whether taken on its own or as part of a broader exploration of the city’s story, the Little Museum is definitely worth a visit- even if just for some good craic.

The tour guide Saul was knowledgeable, fun and surprisingly athletic! Well worth the time and price.
