We spent a great day with Ricardo Martin, our guide. We visited the Pena Palace gardens & walked the perimeter walls. On his recommendation we skipped the interior of the palace & we were happy not to wait in a 2 hr line to get in! On to Quinta REGALEIRA which was amazing. Ricardo had us pre-purchase our tickets for a specific time & it worked out perfectly. Overall a great day!
Sintra is perfection and Ricardo is THE best tour guide. He is a Sintra native and showed us all the best hidden away picture spots and other tips and tricks just beyond the included attractions. He was super communicative the day before the tour to make sure we were set up for success and throughout the day we were never wondering what was next. He had answers to all our questions and was super knowledgeable. Would highly recommend him for your Sintra tour!!

My group of 7 had a fun and interesting 8+ hours with Ricardo Martin. We were all impressed with his expansive knowledge of Portugal. We stopped at a small local restaurant halfway and were able to refresh and enjoy the regional cuisine. Peña Palace was amazing!
From the moment we were picked up at our hotel, our private guide Nuno went above and beyond to ensure our adventure into Sintra and Cascais was an unforgettable experience! Even though the weather was not cooperating with us at the start of our adventure, Nuno modified our day to ensure that we made the most of our indoor and outdoor exploring time to accommodate. Our trip in to explore the castles and coastline was to be the highlight of our stay in Lisbon and this tour did not in any way disappoint. Nuno spoke fluent English, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about his homeland and shared fascinating stories that brought the sites we visited to life for us! He took us to amazing viewpoints and we never felt rushed even though we knew we were tight on time and Nuno was running overtime. This was a fun and informative adventure! We had the best day with Diogo visiting Sintra and Pena Palace and many other places. It was the best day. He was kind, knowledgeable, and very patient with our group and all our craziness. 10/10 would recommend this trip.
Book with Ricardo!! One of the nicest, most genuine guys. He really made this day perfect. I can’t imagine he’s ever met a stranger. He’s from Sintra and gave us some great insider tips for our visit to Pena Palace that saved us time and showed us some lesser known spots. The lunch he picked was awesome. Great food and great vibes. Cabo La Roca was a can’t miss, absolutely beautiful. It was a truly wonderful day.
The second time we hired, the first time we went solo with my partner, we liked it so much that on the second trip to Portugal, this time with friends, we hired our own guide again! The company is small, they are true locals and super responsible for their work. In fact, we highly recommend the experience! Portugal has become our second home!
The tour was great. Ricardo was very knowledgeable and a very kind person. It was a very hot day and no AC in the car made for a miserable ride, other than that it was great.
