Gato was the best guide. We went with a seven year old and he went out of his way to include him. You know it is a good tour guide when the include kids. Gato was so knowledgeable on such a wide variety - the ruins, the cenotes and even fish while snorkelling. You will be tired at the end but so worth the trip.
Cenote was awesome experience that I can highly recommended to any Cancun travelers. Great time with a great guide from Cancun Adventure. Definitely return to Cancun Adventure for future Cancun actives!
While the activities were good, the “up to 8 hrs” advertised tour was almost 12 hours with so much time spent in the cramped hot mini bus collecting others from other hotels, swapping vans and driving slowly down long unsealed dirt tracks to the cenote and lunch in a van not made for those dirt track road surfaces. We were collected at 6:20 and lunch wasn’t until after 3pm. Had we known that we would have taken advantage of eating at Tulum earlier. Good guides and good activity but next time we will seek a private tour to avoid the mini bus and travel stress.
Guide Mario was excellent. The cenote experience was amazing and a must do.
Our full day excursion was great. Adrian and Rodrigo were fantastic. Couldn't ask for better guide and driver! Cenote Sueno was amazing and highly recommend. Lagoon snorkel was good and saw some nice fish but water was quite cloudy so a bit disappointed. Overall day was great and do highly recommend. One thing to share is to be sure bring towels!
This is a full day activity and lots of riding in vans. Tulum is awesome, the Cenote is incredible…..just a long day
This one is a must. The tour is fun, engaging and the guide’s Luis and Eric are amazing. Highly reccomend.
My wife, her sisters, and I thoroughly enjoyed this experience. Our guide, “Gato”, was both informative and entertaining. His knowledge of the history of these sites and the area were great. The Mayan archeological site was amazing. The cenote was otherworldly. It truly must be experienced to be believed, and the snorkeling was wonderful. I highly recommend both Gato and this tour.

It's wonderful to know that Gato made your adventure even more special with his knowledge, entertaining personality, and passion for sharing the history and beauty of the region. We're glad you enjoyed the Mayan archaeological site, the incredible cenote, and the snorkeling experience. We'll be sure to share your kind words with Gato. Thank you for your recommendation and for choosing Cancun Adventures. We hope to welcome you back soon for another unforgettable adventure! — Cancun Adventures
What a great excursion! I did this as a solo traveler and had the absolute best time. I have to say this tour is LONG. So, please be ready for a full day experience. The time does not include the time picking up guests at the different resorts. I happened to be in the hotel furthest away which meant I was the first picked up and the last to be dropped off. Checko was an amazing guide! He was funny but also very supportive. He checked on me as a solo traveler to make sure I was OK and also checked in with those who were nervous about swimming. He truly made the experience top notch. The food was so good however it was late in the day, so make sure you have a hearty breakfast and pack some snacks. The crew did provide us with bananas and granola bars for those who needed a snack before lunch. Also at our stop in Tulum, we had time to grab a bite if needed too. So, you won't go starving. My absolute favorite part was the cenote experience. So so beautiful. While you cannot take photos the memories will last forever. Also, please do not buy the photos. They are so over priced and there is no guarantee on when you'd receive the photos.
The Tulum portion was good I wish our guide was a little bit more experienced because we heard other guides giving very detailed information and our tour guides seem to be reading off the plaques. the cenote portion was one of the best experiences my family and I have ever had and for this our tour guide was fantastic ! He knew a lot about the cenote which was underground . The snorkeling portion was a little unorganized and there were a lot of people there but the fish were plentiful and it was a beautiful setting. We thought lunch on the beach sounded fantastic except the beach was filled with seaweed you couldn't go on the beach except where you're eating under the tent. The road to get to the beach was atrocious and took forever so we could've done without that drive to the Cancun adventures own special beach for lunch, because while the lunch was good and the service was good it wasn't worth the drive and the smell of the beach. Overall the cenote and the Tulum ruins made the day well worth it it was a small group 14 of us on a especially Hot day our tour guide had snacks and water for us all throughout the day and if there's one thing that you absolutely do it is visit an underground Sonoda while you are in Mexico it is well worth it
