A group of friends and I booked this while our cruise was in Cádiz, and it turned out to be one of the best days of our trip. Seville has so much character, and it was nice having someone who knew the city show us around instead of trying to figure everything out ourselves.
The Cathedral and Giralda were impressive, but the Alcázar really stood out to us. We enjoyed hearing about the different periods of history and how the city developed over time. The guide explained things in a relaxed way and gave us plenty of opportunities to ask questions.
Plaza de España was another favorite. We spent some time taking pictures and walking around before heading toward the historic areas near Santa Cruz. Having some free time there was great because we could explore at our own pace.
Since we were on a cruise, our biggest concern was making sure we got back to Cádiz on schedule. Everything was handled smoothly, and we arrived back with time to spare. It was a full day, but it never felt chaotic. Great experience with friends.

Total disorganization and misinformation!
This was clearly one of the most disorganized Viator tours we’ve ever encountered. The pickup instructions were inaccurate, multiple times causing us to walk several miles to finally reach the bus. Once in Seville, our tour was OK, however I thought our guide could have spoken better English. She seemed a bit nervous and spent too much time getting off on tangents that were irrelevant or not interesting. To make matters worse, after the tour was over, she abandoned us in Seville after instructing us to get back on our own. I thought she should have met us at a local spot and led us back to the departure bus. Several people were late due to the distance. We did make it back to the ship on time. I would say this tour was totally disorganized and over-priced for what it was. Viator dropped the ball on this one!
事業者からの返答
We regret to hear about your disappointment and would like to address the concerns raised:
1. According to our guide, your disappointment may have stemmed from your expectation of a private tour, which you expressed upon arriving at the meeting point. Please note that private tours are clearly labeled as such and typically cost at least three times as much as shared group tours.
2. To avoid unnecessary walking and confusion, we strongly recommend carefully following the clear pickup instructions provided by Viator in advance. These same instructions enabled us to successfully collect more than 200 of your fellow cruise passengers, some of whom had to wait while our coordinators searched for you in other areas of the port.
3. We would like to remind you that English is an international language spoken with a wide variety of accents throughout Europe. Expecting every European guide to speak American English is neither realistic nor reasonable. We encourage travelers to embrace the linguistic and cultural diversity they encounter when visiting other countries.
4. Please note that guides accompany guests back to the cruise port on some private tours, while return transportation on shared group tours is provided by professional drivers. This arrangement is listed the Additional Info section of the tour description, which we recommend reviewing before booking.
5. A timely return to the cruise ship is guaranteed. We understand that concerns about missing the ship can be particularly common among first-time cruisers. However, such concerns generally diminish with cruise experience
In conclusion, we strongly recommend basing your expectations for future activities on the published tour description, itinerary, and inclusions rather than personal assumptions. Understanding the difference between shared and private tours is particularly important for ensuring an enjoyable travel experience.
We wish you safe and pleasant travels

A Great Day in Seville
We were traveling as a family on a cruise and really wanted to see Seville without worrying about getting back to Cádiz on time. The day worked out really well for us. We visited Seville Cathedral and the Giralda, and seeing the architecture in person was incredible. The Alcázar was another highlight, especially the beautiful details and the mix of different architectural styles.
We also stopped at Plaza de España, which was probably the favorite spot for everyone in our family. There was plenty of time for photos and to simply take in the surroundings. Later, we had some free time around Santa Cruz, where we walked through the narrow streets and found a nice place for a drink and a snack.
The guide was friendly and easy to listen to, especially when explaining the history behind the places we were seeing. We never felt rushed, but the schedule was organized enough that we could see a lot in one day. Most importantly for us as cruise passengers, we returned with plenty of time before departure. It was a very enjoyable family day.

Great experience
Good tour ! Should have spent more time to see Seville plaza. There was not enough time to see main attraction.
