My boyfriend and I took part in a private cooking class and it was a really great experience! We were allowed to choose what we wanted to cook ourselves and went to a local market together beforehand to get the ingredients. The whole class was incredibly fun and we learned many exciting things about the ingredients, the cuisine, and the culture along the way. Absolutely recommended!

Such an amazing experience! The Kims welcomed us into their home, shared their culture with us, and taught us how to prepare traditional Vietnamese dishes completely from scratch — and everything turned out absolutely delicious! We spent the day exploring the local market, preparing dinner together, and learning so much about Vietnamese food and culture. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, not only sharing their knowledge about cooking but also happily answering all the questions we had — even those completely unrelated to food. It was such a fun and authentic way to kick off our vacation in Hanoi. What we loved most was how personal and relaxed the evening felt — it genuinely felt like we were spending time with friends rather than attending a cooking class. BEST VIETNAMESE COOKING EXPERIENCE EVER YOU HAVE TO DO THIS!!!! We learned so much about food, culture, and taste of Vietnam. Whether it was trailing behind Kim in the local markets or having the first sour spicy umami taste of banana salad — we had a BLAST!!!
