we had an incredible time with Rose both on the Cooking Tour and also on Citi tour with one of her teammates. I would highly recommend her and look forward to going on a tour with her again.

Rose had prompt communication from moments after I booked ( months ago) as well as a few days in advance so we knew our cooking class had not changed. She met us, walked through the local village market showing us many fruits, vegetables and herbs. Touch and smell a big part of our education. As we discussed our menu, we asked about substitutions and she was quick to show us alternatives to banana blossoms etc. This was definitely a hands on class which we love as we want to be able to duplicate to our best ability once home. She is patient kind and has excellent English, coaching us to roll spring rolls correctly😅. Valuable for many things one rolls when baking or cooking!! We learned many things, loved all the foods and the 2 dipping sauces as well. Thank you Rose for opening your home to us! We were honored to meet your beautiful children and family as well!!

The food was amazing! I photographed everything I ate - which was surprising because I didn’t think I could wait to eat! Rose not only introduced us to the fresh, delicious foods but also told us about the history, culture and agriculture in Vietnam. Highly recommend!

We did four full days of tours with Sammy. We travel a lot, and she was the best Tour Guide ever! English is perfect, every trip was so well organized that things flowed smoothly. That does not happen by accident. She also took us off the beaten path. Her walking food tour of Hanoi was not just delicious but credibly interesting. And I guarantee you we went to little hole in the wall hidden spots that no tourist would ever find on their own. When she took us to Ha long Bay, which was a 2 1/2 hour drive from Hanoi, she broke the trip up with a fascinating visit to a pearl growing experience and made sure that we were never hungry or thirsty or bored. She booked a local sightseeing boat for just our small group. She took us to see incredible sites without hordes of tourists around.

Truly a cooking class like no other. The chef takes you to a bunch of local vendors in the neighbourhood, which are all happy to see you :), pick up all the fresh ingredients, meats, fish, learn more about popular herbs and condiments. Then hands on the cooking starts! The chef and assistants have already prepared the cooking station and the chef then explains each cooking technique needed to make the dish. We made: - Bánh Xèo: Crispy Vietnamese pancake with a savoury filling, rolled in spring role with perfect dipping sauce using kumquat to perfectly balance. - Bun Cha: BBQ marinated pork with a dipping sauce and fresh noodles all from scratch then carefully grilled by the chefs assistant over charcoal - Banana flower salad: learned the proper cutting technique, how to make the salad nice an crunchy topped with peanuts this was truly a delight! - Egg Coffee: Special request from me because I fell in love with this type of sweet coffee created in Hanoi. Honestly this was the best cooking class I've ever done, especially because of the skill level of the chef, would recommend 100%.

The food tour with Rose is both gastronomically satisfying and educational. She always injects a bit if not a lot of cultural and historical information about the food that really helped us to fully appreciate the dish. We had a wonderful walk through the old quarters while sharing stories about how similar or it differs from our own Filipino Cuisine. The intercultural interaction made the experience more memorable because we got to know each other in a personal level. Food connects people. And i highly recommend this tour ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!

Rose with her experience as chef has taken us to the best street food and secret cafes where the food was delicious. She's a really friendly person and chooses food as per our preferences. Recommend everyone to go her food tour in Hanoi for sure.

This tour was a delicious experience. We met up in the old quarter and we visited 7 hidden gems of local street food. Our guide Rose has such passion for her city, the cuisine and showcasing its goodness that is moving and inspiring! Best guide ever! The food we tried was delicious, all made with fresh ingredients while we were being told about the history of the places we were visiting, and stories that made the flavours and experiences all the more richer. EVERYONE that visits Hanoi must book a tour with Rose. She is the best.
