1日の始まりは、首都レイキャビクの指定された場所からの朝のピックアップです
最初の停留所まで車で40分：シンクヴェトリル（シングヴェトリル）国立公園。 ユーラシアプレートと北アメリカ構造プレートが離れて漂うこの注目すべき地溝帯は、見事な地質学と深い歴史の両方を示しています。 ここではアイスランドの元々の国会議事堂であるアルシングを探索したり、シルフラ裂け目やアルマナガー地溝を眺めたり、シンクヴァラヴァトン湖を一望したりと、アイスランドの自然の驚異を忘れられない体験ができます。
その後、アイスランド高地の端に位置する「黄金の滝」と適切に名づけられた息をのむようなグトルフォスへと向かいます。 グトルフォスはクヴィータ川の渓谷内で優雅に滝のように流れ、北にはラングヨークトル氷河によって供給され、雄大なオーラを放っています。 2段の滝として、グトルフォスは下深くに消えていくようで、その水は印象的な32メートルも突っ込んでいます。 滝はアイスランドの風景の素の力強さを存分に表現し、自然のパワーを魅せてくれます。 季節を問わず、グルフォスは畏敬の念を抱かせる美しさで魅了され、アイスランドの大自然を旅する上で必見の場所です。
続いては 、 「 間欠泉」という言葉の発祥の地、ゲイシール地熱地帯を探索します。 蒸気の噴出孔、泡立つプール、温泉の間を彷徨い、最も活発な間欠泉であるシュトロックルが4〜10分ごとに噴出し、15〜20メートル（49〜66フィート）の熱湯が空中に吹き出すのを眺めましょう。
アイスランド最古の地熱プール、シークレットラグーンでくつろぎましょう。 苔むした溶岩原にたたずむ水は、年間を通じて38–40℃の心地よい温度を保ち、小さな間欠泉が魅力を増しています。 水着を持参するか、または現地でレンタルして、冒険の完璧なリラックスエンドをお楽しみください。
最後の目的地は、6500年以上前に形成された火山の火口「ケリズ・クレーター 」 、 つまり「世界の目」です。 赤い火山岩を背景に青緑色の鮮やかな湖が沈む姿は必見です。 クレーターは幅886フィート (270 m) で、高さ180フィート (55 m) までの壁があり、縁から素晴らしい景色を眺めることができ、湖の周りを20分ほど歩くことができる。 夏は緑の苔、冬は雪や氷など、四季折々の変化が四季を彩り、四季折々の神秘的な光景を見せてくれます。
その後、レイキャビクに戻り、出発場所から降ろします。

Really is a small group! Tour was only about a dozen people. A great tour and our guide was a native Icelander with many interesting stories. Not too much talking but enough to give you a good taste of Iceland. Saw a collapsed volcano, the mid-Atlantic ridge, thermal geysers, and waterfalls. Lots of time at each stop, usually a restroom and a small shop at each stop. This is the most popular tour, so be sure to book well in advance.
