It is a relaxing, informative, peaceful, ride on the all electric river tour boat. We were lucky that the boat boards right in front of our hotel so we liked the ride so much the first day we arrived that we wanted to go again after we had been here a few days. The ride the first day really helped us get the lay of the land and the second time was a lovely review.... It is a lovely 40 minutes of signs seeing !!
We chose to do a Thames River Cruise with the Tower of London River Tour company. We knew how to get to their location (under the Tower Bridge). It was pleasant. We were able to see a few sights that we had not been able to see. It is short (too short to me) but we chose it over other river tours because it started and ended at one location. It was pleasant. There was a tour guide on the boat pointing out particular sights and giving some history about the locations. We would do it again.
We met up as a group for the tour and had a great time finding lots of facts we knew nothing about prior and spitting places and objects hidden within normal day to day. So interesting, relaxing and enjoyable and the tour guide was fantastic with his humour and knowledge. Easy to find at the side of Tower Bridge and St.K Docks and not too busy so get a real personal insight. For the length of the tour and the great views its a very affordable add on to any trip. Brilliant tour!
Ran all the way across the city to get there and find out our tour had been canceled. The crew was unapologetic and it was handled very unprofessionally.

Perfect! We loved every minute of the river cruise. Super easy to get to, accessible for my elderly mum, comfortable seating and gorgeous bar area! The guide was AMAZING - funny and so interesting. Takes you past all the fabulous landmarks and returns you to the same accessible spot! 💯 recommend!
