The Perfect—and Most Delicious—Way to End Our Peru Trip This was one of the absolute highlights of our trip to Peru. Our host picked us up in Miraflores and welcomed us into his home, where the four of us learned to make tuna tartare, authentic Peruvian ceviche, and—of course—pisco sours. He is a professional chef who started this business so he could spend more time with his family, and his passion for cooking and Peruvian culture comes through in everything he does. He also owns a pisco factory, so we learned quite a bit about Peru’s famous spirit while making some truly excellent pisco sours. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was relaxed and personal, and our host was charming, engaging, and completely fluent in English. You can tell that he genuinely cares about his craft and about giving his guests a memorable experience. There were only four of us in the class, and we quickly became friends with the other couple, who were visiting from the UK. We laughed, cooked, ate, drank, and had an absolutely fantastic time together. This was such a fun, authentic, and memorable way to end an already amazing trip to Peru. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for much more than just another cooking class. Five stars without hesitation!

what a fantastic time i had. not only was the food delicious, the chef was able to tell me how and where pisco sours were made. the fish was so fresh and gave me great ideas how i can make all of this myself. after he took me to the olive park which was heaven

This was a fantastic experience! Ended up being a private tour, so we had our class in the hosts apartment. Learned to make delicious recipes and enjoyed our Pisco Sour tasting. Can't wait to try the recipes at home. Would definitely recommend booking this tour!

During the class are passed techniques of elaboration of typical Peruvian dishes and drinks. Contributes to cultural and gastronomic enrichment. An enriching and fun experience. I went with my mother, she and I recommended the experience with Chef José Antonio.

The Cooking class was perfect. We prepare a nice tartare and ceviche of fish. And you can also make your own pisco sour coktail. Very interesting and José is very friendly so It's nice, so the cooking class is just too good! I recommend 100% this class 👨‍🍳

In a small group of four, Jose welcomes us to his home for a relaxed cooking class, with good ingredients and a cheerful atmosphere! An opportunity to taste pisco sours with many different flavors and from his production. It was a great time, I recommend it!!

This was an awesome experience with Jose Antonio . He taught me a lot about the history of the drink and taught me how to make the food properly. Very personable and patient and really great experience. If you have a chance I would highly recommend taking his class.
