A wonderful experience. Chris met us at the market and he took us through it explaining all the different fruits, veggies, and other produce. Once he picked out some items for our dinner, we went to the cooking studio. There, we made drinks, an appetizer, a main course, and a dessert to close out the evening. The food was fun to make and was absolutely delicious! Thank you Chris for a great time!

We had a little tour round the food market including trying chilli salted chocolate, which was very interesting. Then we went to the cooking class, made Pisco sour and a three course typical Peruvian meal, which was delicious with an engaging and entertaining chef. This was a wonderful experience.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Peruvian cooking class. The chef was highly skilled yet very approachable and gave great instructions. Throughout the entire experience, from walking through San Pedro market, to making a pisco sour, to making a full meal, I learned interesting facts about Peruvian history, culture, and foods. I highly recommend this experience!

This class and lunch was a highlight of my trip to Peru. Chris was so knowledgeable and the recipes were really easy to follow, with a great balance of ingredients. Highly recommend.

This was included in our Travel Light Trek and was an awesome experience and great way to end our journey! The class and Chris were 10/10 and would do it again. Highly recommend if you’re in Cusco! We made Pisco Sour, Ceviche, Quinoa Risotto and Fruit Parfait!! And the San Pedro Market was an incredible experience!

It was truly a wonderful experience—a great way to discover the local market. The cooking class was truly immersive; we each prepared our own dish using recipes that were authentically local but with a modern twist. It was absolutely delicious. And the icing on the cake was when I opened the invoice in my email and found the complete recipes to recreate at home. Just the perfect touch of kindness. Thank you again for this wonderful experience.

We had a super fun time in Chris's cooking studio. He is skilled, funny, and speaks good English. The dishes are delicious too!

Wonderful host. Very knowledgeable about the market offerings and food prep methods. Answered lots of questions from our group. The host made an alternative meal option for me due to allergy/food restrictions with no hesitation. Lots of food was offered. Left very full. Wonderful experience overall.

Christian was an excellent guide through the Cusco and then took us to his charming kitchen. We all participated in making a wonderful meal. He made the process seem easy to repeat once we return home.

We had an awesome expierence, “PurvIan Cooking with Chris”! His knowledge through the market, to the “hands on demo”, made for a great afternoon. The pace for the market tour and culinary instruction were both well thought out, and interesting! We enjoyed the three course luncheon, ceviche, risotto, style quinoa, and passionfruit style parfait, and of course the Pisco Sour was a total highlight of the day! We all agree, definitely a most fun and memorable activity, to be a true Peruvian for the day!
