Naz was such a great tour guide. It was an awesome experience.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The perfect way to experience Bologna — and Eric was exceptional! We’ve done plenty of food and wine experiences on our travels, and this was one of the great ones. Bologna is already a dangerous place to visit if you have absolutely no self-control around good food, and spending a few hours with Eric only made the situation considerably worse! From the very beginning, Eric was warm, engaging, incredibly knowledgeable and just great company. What really made the tour special was that it never felt like we were being marched around ticking off a list of foods. Instead, it felt like wandering through Bologna with a very knowledgeable local friend who knew exactly where to go, what to eat, what to drink and — most importantly — the stories behind it all. I should note we were lucky enough to score a private tour, which made it even more special. The food was sensational, matched with some great wine, and we learned so much about Bologna, its food culture and the extraordinary amount of passion and tradition that sits behind what appears on the plate. Eric struck that perfect balance between giving us fascinating information and simply allowing us to relax, laugh, eat and enjoy ourselves. There was nothing scripted or mechanical about it. He clearly loves Bologna and its food, and that enthusiasm is infectious. We finished completely full, slightly more educated, considerably happier and wondering why on earth we hadn’t come to Bologna sooner. If you love food, wine, local stories and discovering a city beyond the obvious tourist sights, do this tour. And if you can get Eric as your guide, even better. An absolutely brilliant experience and one of the highlights of our time in Italy. Highly recommended!

Our guide Naz was excellent. She gave a very interesting tour of the historic centre. The highlight (unsurprisingly in Bologna) is the food. We tried cheese in the old market streets, followed a platter of meats, cheese, and vegetables (served with wine), and then onto dinner where we got to try some delicious pasta dishes. The evening finished with a trip to a geletaria which topped off an excellent tour. Highly reccomend!!

The tour was really interesting, the food, wine and Bologna ♥️ were top class. Naz our guide was truly knowledgeable and genuinely interested in Bologna food culture and was an excellent guide.

Domenico was a great tour guide and we enjoyed him very much. Dinner was ok. My expectations of the Ragu wasn’t met but the tortellini was great and gelato excellent.

Very good food and guide knowledge of Bologna. We had 4 stops - cheese tasting, charcuterie board, red and white pasta and gelata. I would do it again.

A very nice way to get to know a city. Our guide Eric showed us some very nice places and let us taste delicious products. Always nice to sit at the table with international company.

We have done several walking dinner tours throughout Italy. This one and our guide Eric was the best of all. Plenty of food, drink, and information for a casual and comfortable evening. Would do again and highly recommend.
