We had 4 grown adults. They showed up with a station wagon. Tried to charge more for a larger car. The tour guide did not tell us anything. We had to ask where we were going because he provided no information. It was a taxi ride

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We take every guest’s comments seriously and reviewed the details of your booking and the GPS records from the day of the tour.
According to our booking records, your reservation was made for a sedan vehicle, and therefore a sedan was provided for your group of four adults, in accordance with the booked service.
You requested a larger van on the day of the tour. We clearly explained that upgrading to a larger vehicle would require an additional charge. You did not accept the additional cost. As an alternative, we offered to arrange a van through another company at no additional tour-guide service, and you accepted this option.
Regarding the tour itself, our GPS records confirm that the driver took you to the locations included in your booked itinerary. We therefore cannot agree with the statement that the service was simply a taxi ride.
It is also important to clarify that the option you accepted was transportation without a tour guide. A driver providing transportation is not the same service as a professional guided tour, where the guide provides detailed information and commentary about each attraction. Since the guided-tour service was not accepted, we cannot reasonably be held responsible for the lack of guided commentary.
We respect your feedback, but we also want to make sure that the review accurately reflects what was booked, what was offered, and what service was ultimately accepted and provided.

Amazing experience
Cannot say enough great things about this tour and our guide Elyas. Exceptional experience. Absolutely gorgeous country, amazed at the beauty. Elyas was incredibly knowledgable and made our experience amazing. Would highly recommend!

Thoughtful Driver
The sites were incredible and our driver, Valinca, was more than competent and very kind. So much so that I mistakenly left my hat in the vehicle at the conclusion of the tour, and he returned it to my hotel later that evening. That was above and beyond normal expectations. Great way to visit the Golden Circle at your own pace
A great way to visit each of the top sites along the Golden Circle. Our driver picked us up at our hotel and dropped us off at each site, allowing us as much time as we wanted to enjoy each location. This was not a guided tour, but our driver, Valinca, had been to each location and was able to recommend the best way for us to spend our time at each site. We had an enjoyable time throughout the day and Valinca could not have been more helpful. He was also pleasant to visit with and helped make our day a great one!

Wonder private tour of Iceland
Sayer was fabulous and very professional . He picked us up at our cruise port in Iceland in a nice size clean van, and was 15 minutes early. He was waiting on us when we departed the terminal, help with our luggage, and very polite.
He explained our itinerary for the day and showed us all the high points of Iceland.
At the end of our tour, he delivered us to our hotel.
I highly recommend Sayer.

The Best Customer Service.
We truly appreciate Viator of their full understanding and accommodating our group’s changes. The change was made in less than 12 hours before the trip. It was not an easy situation as the schedule changes due to different agendas and the local weather. Viator worked with us promptly and professionally. We are so pleased of the trip even the weather was not an ideal situation. The driver, Valinca, was so accommodating and worked with our schedule. Big Kudos to Valinca and Viator.

Private Golden Circle Tour
Taking a private tour was the way to go. See the beautiful sites without the rush or waiting for 40 people to get off the bus!!! The Golden Circle is a must see.

Nice driver
Our driver was very friendly, very accomodating and we felt safe with his driving. However, we certainly didn't get any knowledge of Iceland from him, we may as well have just booked a taxi to take us arouind. A friend went on one recently and also go a guide in with their tour, they learned all sorts. We thought that is what we were getting but sadly that was not the case.

Please note that all of our drivers are highly experienced, professional, and safety-focused, and their primary responsibility is to ensure a smooth and secure travel experience. In-depth historical and cultural commentary is provided in our guided tour packages, which must be selected at the time of booking.
Additionally, our driver informed us that during much of the tour, you and your companions were engaged in phone conversations and discussions among yourselves inside the vehicle, which also limited opportunities for interaction.
We regret if there was any misunderstanding regarding the type of service booked, and we always encourage guests to contact us prior to the tour if they would like to upgrade to a guided experience. We would be more than happy to arrange that.
