Fabulous sites to see! Very friendly and safe drivers. Well planned day with adequate time to see everything.
We had an excellent time with our driver Daniel, who had great stories got us everywhere. We wanted to go on time and without feeling rushed.
Daniel was a fantastic guide, and showed us some cool spots the folks on the big busses never see.
Our guide was very nice but only told us a few facts about the area. She could have told us more facts about the area. She also was hard to hear.
THEY DID NOT GIVE US A TOUR GUIDE! They asked the bus driver to be our guide. He tried very hard, and did his very best, but he had very, very limited English skills. So we paid for a guided tour, but got a shuttle service to our attractions. Two ladies were late at our first attraction, so our driver skipped the last waterfall, totally without explanation or even notifying us. The tour’s chosen lunch site was extremely crowded and chaotic. It was total bedlam. All in all, it was a terrible tour.

Unfortunately, two travellers became separated from the group at Þingvellir, and after locating them, the schedule had to be adjusted to ensure everyone returned to the ship on time. The tour guide was great, lots of local insight. But the van experience was… just awful. We arrived early - were the the first ones at the pick up point- but the driver arrived late and we had to rush to get seats far from where we waited. Eventually we got seats in the back of the van with limited space and no headroom with absolutely no visibility of the countryside. Even small children might have felt squished. Everyone on board agreed that those seats should never have been sold. The only way I could see the surrounding area was to move into the aisle and crane my neck. Not fun at all. My husband (who is only 6 feet tall and not a large man) and one other passenger got off at one point and refused to get back on.. Honestly? This is perhaps the most disappointing Viator excursion we’ve never experienced. Only giving the trip three stars became cruise guide was pretty wonderful. But we would love a refund!

Our guide did not show up, which left our bus driver to try and fill in. He tried, but clearly did not have the knowledge or experience. We also had to wait 20 minutes for two passengers which caused us to shorten our ther stops. It was disorganized from the beginning and very disappointing.
