We did half a day at the caves of drach on the 15.9.26 was out of this world would highly recommend and had a lovely guide Katharina from start to finish lovely memories made and lots of photo opportunities throughout the excursions.

Amazing
Could not fault bus was on time guide was very knowledgeable about the points of interest along route. The caves were amazing. When we came out the guild was waiting told us how long we had to shop and where the bus was . Journey back was quick driver was good and felt safe. Would definitely use this company again.

Safe guide but a bit pricy
Good guide with lots of general information about the tour and about Mallorca. You pay a lot of money for the bus tour/guide itself compared to what just an entrance ticket to the caves costs.

Fantastic experience!
Our guide was Ester with Sam. Our pick up was prompt and efficient. The journey to the caves included a stop off at. Porto Christo which was very much needed and allowed us to go to the toilet and have a drink as the journey was about 90 minutes in total.
Ester was very good at organising everyone and making sure we had all the information we needed.
The caves are amazing and lovely and cool! The walk down into the caves is quite busy with other visitors but nevertheless we were able to stop and take photographs.
The highlight is when the lights go out and the boats arrive with musicians playing classical music. A very lovely moment.
Finally we boarded rowing boats for a short ride to exit out. Beware, bear in mind you walk down into the caves so therefore you have to walk uphill to get out! All in all a great experience and I really recommend No Frills as a company to book through!

Like Walking Through A Different Planet
Ester, our guide was excellent. She spoke slowly and clearly in both Spanish and English. She was personable, enthusiastic, and helpful.
In our whole group we had eight children between the ages of 2 and 9. The walk was easy for the kids (with the 2 year old in a carrier).
The caves are really cool to walk through, both literally and figuratively. It's cool underground--a wonderful break from the summer heat. The various shapes and textures of the stalactites, stalagmites, with the scattered pools, etc. feel like you're walking through a different planet.
Getting to sit down and listen to the live musicians play amongst the natural acoustics was really lovely.

A must see in Mallorca.
Beautiful caves, which you were allowed to walk through at own pace. The classical concert inside the caves is just incredible. Would highly recommend!

Caves are awesome but the bus rides are time consuming
The caves are awesome! The way there and back, was not. Be prepared to spend an hour doing pickup before even making your way to caves. We spent more time on the buses than in the caves themselves. I was annoyed I did not think to just drive myself to the experience.
Also, bring water or snacks for the bus bc they don't offer either for the bus rides.

Regarding the journey, guests staying in the north of the island benefit from our hotel pick-up service, which naturally involves collecting passengers from different resorts before heading to the caves. This is clearly explained in the excursion description and allows many visitors to enjoy the experience without the need to hire a car or worry about parking, tickets or timings.
While driving yourself is certainly an option, our excursion includes return transport, organised entry, priority ticket handling and the assistance of a guide throughout the day, making the visit completely hassle-free.
Thank you as well for your suggestion about bringing water or snacks. That's useful advice for future travellers, especially during the warmer months.

The tour was called "boat trip". It's misleading. For all who buy a ticket it is free to sit in a rover for 2 minutes to be transported a few meters inside the cave. There is no tour operator organizing. You feel really fooled and pretty stupid when you realize that "Boat trip from Alcudia, return with bus" means bus both directions and 50-100 meters in a rover

Do you need a guide?!?!?
With all due respect for the guide we had, who was also nice, I expected a guide during the tour in the cave and not just to pass the time during the trip from Alcudia to Porto Cristo! In my opinion, it is not well described. There are various stops where you can be picked up by the bus around Alcudia; it takes almost an hour and a half by bus during which the guide mainly gives the rules to follow and the meeting points. You arrive at the site, and the guide gets off the bus to collect the tickets (with priority over others, but they are almost all followed by guides). We all get off; from here on, the guide NO LONGER FOLLOWS US! We all line up, mixed with others, and enter at the scheduled time. You walk for about 1 km downhill inside the cave to admire stalactites, etc.; everyone arrives at the end where a very suggestive concert of about 10 minutes will take place. At the end of the concert, you can choose whether to go back up via a small bridge or cross the Martel lake with VARIOUS organized boats. You ascend with a final short walk. Duration of the internal tour of the cave is 1 hour! They say we have time to go to the pearl show-room (beware of terrible reviews) or to Porto Cristo, but the available time is only about 30 minutes, and you only get to see the small harbor with two restaurants.

La guida non è presente solo "per passare il tempo" durante il viaggio. Il suo ruolo è fondamentale per l'organizzazione dell'escursione: spiega come si svolgerà la visita, fornisce informazioni sulle Grotte del Drago e su Maiorca, distribuisce e gestisce tutti i biglietti d'ingresso, accompagna il gruppo fino all'accesso prioritario, si assicura che tutti sappiano dove e quando ritrovarsi, assiste chi ha bisogno di aiuto e, al termine della visita, è nuovamente presente all'uscita per accogliere il gruppo e accompagnarlo al pullman.
La visita all'interno delle grotte è libera. Questo non vale solo per la nostra escursione, ma per tutte le compagnie, poiché il percorso interno è gestito esclusivamente dall'amministrazione delle Cuevas del Drach. Nessuna guida può accompagnare i visitatori all'interno.
La differenza è tutto ciò che accade prima e dopo la visita: organizzazione, tranquillità, assistenza, sicurezza e supporto continuo. Senza una guida, i clienti devono gestire autonomamente gli orari, i punti d'incontro e tutta la logistica, con il rischio di perdere il pullman o avere difficoltà in caso di problemi.
