A time was had!
We went as a very large group. The guide Bruno was amazing, informative & funny. Made the trip more exciting and the ride much more enjoyable! Nuno the driver was an expert at keeping everyone at ease on the narrow cliffs and steep roads! Definitely recommend!

Drinks and air conditioning are essential
Ana and Manuel were excellent, no complaints.
As for the tour, neither, but there were 3 things that bothered me a lot and they are easy to fix: first, the bus air conditioning doesn't manage to cool from the middle of the bus to the back, and the panoramic windows don't have curtains to block the sun when necessary.
The return to Porto was almost 2 hours sweating and with the sun in my face, which was very unpleasant; second, you should have COLD drinks for sale on the bus like Coca-Cola and water, since the heat and thirst on that bus is horrible and in many of the places we went they don't sell ANYTHING, so fix those three things and then the tour would be worth it.

Best Bus with the Best Guide!
I went on their panoramic bus and I had a wonderful day. 100% recommend it, best for getting the full scope of the Douro Valley. This unique bus makes a difference, along with the coolest guide David and the always professional driver Manuel, it all made the day go by quick. Beautiful stops throughout the day. Great price quality range. Just enough people on the same group that allows for a smooth experience to all.

a day out
not impressed by the boat trip on the Douro River, not included in the excursion. Price (15 euros/person). seats in the sun, seats taken randomly, boat too small.....

Fantastic!
We had a fantastic day out. The guide & driver were both brilliant, the coach comfortable, particularly with the open roof and the scenery stunning. We had two port and wine tasting sessions plus wine with our delicious lunch.

Douro Valley
The Douro Valley is AMAZING! The guiding people Bramma, Jonny and Gilberto were wonderful! Food, recommendations and the driver were GREAT! Would do it again!

Great guide, but I wouldn’t book with this operator again.
Pros:
- Fantastic guide! Ana was very warm, funny, knowledgeable, flexible, and kept the energy high and positive throughout the long day.
- The stop in Amaranthe and the river cruise were really nice. Amazing views!
- Overall, the wines we sampled were good and plenty.
Cons:
- There weren’t clear instructions on how to find the bus at the meeting point. Since it’s a common meeting point for several other tour operators at the same time, it would have been nice if someone from Yellow Bus came around to direct people towards the bus, as it was parked on the side and not in clear view at all.
- The bus seats are cramped and the air conditioning was not working. It was over 90 degrees F, so riding the bus got very miserable and several passengers complained.
- The Viator description is misleading - the river cruise is NOT included in the price (although I and several others could’ve sworn it was), so we had to pay 15 euros cash on site. So beware of that.
- While there was unlimited wine at lunch, the food portions were VERY small - and that’s all you get to eat for 10 hours. So I would suggest bringing a snack.
