This was an extensive tour through the Bolonga food market introducing us to the most amazing meats and cheeses from the area. It included history of the market and wines as well as a gelato across town. DArren was fabulous!

Great food experiences if you are looking for the real deal in Bologna throughout the Bolonga market and an authentic gelato this is it!

Warren is a very nice, experienced tour guide with whom you can explore Bologna's specialties. He takes a lot of time and explains the Bolognese cuisine and the production of the various specialties in detail. I recommend booking the tour at the beginning of your stay, the better you can enjoy Bologna and you already get to know various good shops where you can stock up on the corresponding delicacies.

Darren is excellent food guide. He was very good to take care of vegetarian alternatives. Choice of good restaurants where we could comfortably sit and eat as well as have wine. We learned about cheese. Pasta making. And balsamic vinegar.

We had trouble finding the Palazza ( a tip for future visitors is just head to the piazza de mercanzia and the palazza is is directly in front of you),but once we did the tour was excellent. Darren is friendly and very knowledgeable , he knows all the shops and restaurants well, and the proprietors know him too. Lovely food, drinks and information on the food and its origins.

Darren gave us a local's perspective of Bologna with tastings of typical foods. We especially appreciated his suggestion of a restaurant in our next stop - Verona. The restaurant, Mondo d'Oro, is a reasonably-priced, Michelin-mentioned gem!! The food & service were incredible & we thank Darren for the recommendation.

We had an amazing tour with Darren. His knowledge and passion for Bolognese food is evident. We learned so much aswell as tasting some of Bologna’s finest offerings! Definitely reccommend especially if it’s your first time in Bologna/Emilia Romagna.

Awesome experience. Loved the stories, the company and last but not least the food. My only regret is that I did not complete this tour at the start of my Bologna trip as there was certainly places I would have returned to after doing this tour. Thank you Chef!

A taste delight. Relaxed, educational, fun, interesting, and with so many venues and flavours to enjoy and savour. Darren is absolutely brilliant - super engaging and good fun to actually just hang out with. Its like spending time with a friend who knows all the things you have always wondered about.
