It was a disappointing trip with little commentary. There were lots of opportunities to tell us more.
Good mix of music and tour facts about the area surrounding the river Ouse. Length of one hour perfect.
Probably the most disappointing boat trip we have ever taken. It was easy to find the meeting point and the crew were delightful, however, the commentary, which was advertised as interactive, lasted only 12 minutes of the hour long cruise. It certainly was not interactive in any way. It would be unfair to say we learned nothing new about York during the tour but we gained very little new information. There must be so much more to relate about the buildings and bridges that we passed in the city and information about the city and its history that could be discussed during the 48 minutes outside the city. We certainly would not recommend this trip.

Lovely boat trip in York . Did the evening tour . Old boat but that was ok. When the man was delivering a commentary it was good and informative. Unfortunately there was little information given due to most of the time pop music was played. York is an amazing place and for me I would have preferred more commentary and less music.

We loved this trip ! We have done boat trips before in York but only one before at night so this was special - especially as we were the only ones on the trip so had all the boat for just us which was very unexpected! The commentary was very interesting but not intrusive and learnt quite a lot we didn't know from previous trips. The views are lovely and the boat very comfortable. You also get 20% off drinks on the evening 'happy hour' trip which was appreciated. Have to mention both staff members as well - very helpful and friendly and although just two of us on that trip, and without us could probably have finished early, they made us very welcome and comfortable. Would definitely recommend this trip & the company 😊
A very enjoyable evening sail along the river Ouse. The commentary was brilliant, I loved the passion in the delivery.
We arrived on time at 6pm to see that the boat had already left. So disappointed.
Was dark almost straight away so didn't see much, pretty boring as couldn't really hear or understand what was being said through the speaker.
