豊洲市場は築地市場から移転して2018年にオープンした国内最大級の卸売市場。 市場内には水産卸売棟や青果棟を見下ろすツアーコースが整備されている。 市場の活気や働く人々の姿を観察でき、巨大な市場のダイナミックな自然を体感できる。 このツアーでは、特設デッキからマグロの競りを見学します。 国内外から集まった巨大なマグロの光景は圧巻です。 競り人と仲卸業者による真剣勝負に、来場者は見入っている。 オークションは早朝に行われるため、早起きが必要ですが、貴重な体験です。
築地市場は1935年に開業し 、 「 東京の台所」として日本の食文化を支えてきたほか、2018年に豊洲市場に移転した後も、寿司や海鮮丼、卵巻きなど新鮮な食材を使った名物料理が楽しめる築地外市場として多くの店舗が営業を続けている。 市場ならではの賑やかな雰囲気が今も残り、観光客や地元民に親しまれている。 築地市場は、日本の食文化の歴史を体現する場として、豊洲市場とともにその進化を感じさせる特別な場所だ。
築地本願寺（つきじほんがんじ）は東京都中央区にある浄土真宗本願寺派の寺院で、江戸時代（1603年-1868年）に築地に創建されたが、関東大震災で被災し1934年に再建された。 本堂は石造りで、大きなアーチ型の窓と目を引くドーム屋根が特徴。 デザインは古代インドの寺院建築をモデルにしており、日本の寺院としては珍しい異国情緒を感じさせる。 さらに、本堂正面にはカラフルなステンドグラスが飾られ、伝統と現代が融合した空間を演出している。 内部には荘厳な仏像が安置され、厳かな雰囲気を醸し出す一方、広間の広さが訪れた人をくつろぎの空間へと誘います。 築地本願寺は、従来の寺院とは一線を画すエキゾチックな建築と現代的な取り組みが融合し、歴史的価値と新たな魅力を兼ね備えた特別なスポットです。

Excellent guide. Informative. Patient. The tour begins early and runs until about 9 am. Two adults and three teens enjoyed it.
