カザフスタンのグランドキャニオン：チャリン、ブラック、ムーンキャニオン

All three of us enjoyed our trip to the Canyons. The tour got of to a slight delay with a later than expected pick up (only around 20 minutes), but we still had plenty of time walking Charyn Canyon, and visiting Black & Moon Canyon. The tour guide provided a good mix of information and quiet travelling time. The Canyons are normally mixed with the Lakes for tours from Almaty, but we didn't regret picking just the Canyons tour as that was our priority and it felt like a long but comfortably day trip, and we feel that if we went for the much longer tour to the Canyons and lakes it would have disrupted our plans for the next day. Would have been better to have the option of being dropped of in the centre of Almaty first rather than everyone being taken back to individual hotels as the rush hour traffic in Almaty is terrible. In the end we got out and walked as it was quicker than fighting the traffic.

Our guide Leana was so friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family. Thanks for a memorable visit!

I would rate this attraction 4 star since physical efforts are necessary to go down almost 400 steps ( and clinb them up to come back)... The vehicle can take you to the bottom of the canyon with a splendid view and " all efforts worth" scene of a cold water stream at the end. The canyon view is already shown many time on ' travel xp', but to see the geographic structure personally has it's own charms. Barring the physical efforts, if one can accelt, a must see attraction.

I booked directly with the company rather than through a reservation site and paid via PayPal. I received no communication the day before; when I reached out early in the morning, they simply sent me a WhatsApp contact and told me to get in touch with the guide myself. Although the company claimed they hadn't forgotten my booking, the guide mentioned that they had only received my contact details 30 minutes prior. There were no issues with the tour content or the price itself. However, it was obvious my booking had been overlooked, as I was the only one who hadn't been informed about the lunch details beforehand. My drop-off point was on the outskirts of the service area, and during the return trip, both the driver and the guide made it very clear that dropping me off was a huge hassle for them. Is it wrong to book a service that is being offered? I was left feeling disappointed.

The canyons are beautiful overall great trip. Leana is a very knowledgeable and friendly guide. 10/10 would recommend, very nice 👍

When your company is named after your country, the pressure to live up to it is obvious & they delivered in a spectacular fashion. Our group had my daughter & I from India, a couple from Japan and one from Germany. There were also two ladies one from Finland and another from Russia. Our young guide Didi - an extrovert was not only knowledgeable about her area but knew enough about our respective countries to hold a conversation. The costs and facilities provided including the food was satisfactory to the entire group and we all felt that it was a day well spent.

Amazing experience! I am glad I booked this tour and not a tour where you leave super early and visit several lakes + the canyons. This way we could really enjoy our time in the canyons, take our time on the way :) our guide Didi was amazing as well and the lunch was deliiiicious! The big plus is being picked up directly at he hotel!

Great tour, excellent guide and gain a life time experience. The value of this tour exceeds my expectations. I will come back next year!

Tour was excellent - packed with three canyons in one day and very comfortable in relation to the time. Sony is the best guide, she managed everything perfectly, safe and in great pace.

It was a mixed bag. The guide was sweet, but not very systematic or organised. In Charyn river we ended up wasting 2 hours, resulting in rest of the tour being a bit hurried. Before booking the tour, I had specifically confirmed that Charyn canyon both upper and lower trials are included. However the guide was expecting us to depart after we finished lower trial. On asking, I was allowed 30 mins for upper trial - which means I could only walk for 15 mins and then had to head back. Could see just 1 or 2 nearby points. While walking back, found the rest of the tour group was also walking out the upper trail ! Would have been better if the whole group was given at least 60 minutes to explore upper trial on their own. Then for Moon and Black canyon we just got 15 mins each, I would expect min 30 mins as this is a Canyons-only tour. And the final straw was the lunch, which was delayed to 3:30 (tour had started at 7 a.m) which is quite late. Instead of boxed lunch we got a buffet lunch in the cafe, which was welcome but should have been notified in advance. After the lunch we headed back to Almaty. Also the vehicle seats were reasonably comfortable but AC was sporadic - it was off many a times during the hot afternoon making it very uncomfortable inside. Our family of 3 and another british couple had opted for a taxi for the return from Charyn river to Canyon parking, however we had to wait almost an hour (guide had said 20 minutes) and when the vehicle came, boarding was chaotic - another group rushed and occupied the upper open seats, we had to sit inside the cabin without any good view. If I had known this, I would not have booked the taxi at all ! Overall, this tour needs to be improved - allot max 1 hour at Charyn river, and 30 minutes minimum at Moon and Black canyons, and allot 1 hour for upper rim exploration. Ditch the 'boxed lunch' and allow guests to have their own lunch in the numerous cafes in Charyn canyon visitor center (including Indian food) which will allow to have lunch at around 1 - 2 p.m. Better organise the taxi ride back to the parking, or ditch it if you cannot manage it
