Nice day with our great guide / driver Davi… Peles castle was Fab but Bran castle disappointing… we should have skipped the inside and just done the photo from the outside… long day 8-8

Peles, Bran and Braşov
Bran castle has nothing to do with Vlad the impaler but still interesting if cheesy touristy. Had wonderful guide , Tiva, who showed us lots of stuff not on the itinerary. Despite being jet lagged and spending a total of 13 hours on this tour we had a great time and are glad we did it. Tiva deserves special thanks for unwavering optimism and fun

Private Castle Tour
Tavi was fantastic! Punctual, polite, attentive and extremely knowledgeable about Romanian history. We felt safe and well looked after throughout our day visiting Peleș Castle, Bran Castle and Brașov. His car was clean and comfortable, and he made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. We couldn’t have asked for a better driver and guide. Highly recommend!

Best tour of Transylvania
This was a fantastic day out and even though it was a long day it was worth it. We were picked up at our hotel on time and were the only 2 people on the tour. Our guide/ driver was Tavi and we learned so much about Romania on the way to Peles castle. The 2.5 hours went very fast. All the stops were wonderful with enough time to see what we wanted. We did two separate day tours to the same region as there wasn’t a 2 day that included the castles and salt mine. Apparently you can message the company and they will arrange one with an overnight in Brasov. That would have given us an extra 6 hours to spend in Brasov.
We visited Peles Castle, Sinaia, Bran Castle, and Brasov with 2 hours to eat and wander on our own. Getting back to the hotel was 3 hours and we saw stork nests, a bear and fox at the side of the road on our way back.

We had the opportunity to...
We had the opportunity to have a private tour with Tavi to Peles castle and Transylvania. This was to be about a 10 hour round trip and ended up being 14 hours. We took our time getting to our first stop, which caused us to miss our tour time. This was not an issue for Tavi, as he is well connected and was able to quickly get us in. He was also able to obtain us access to additional floors in the castle, which are not open to the general public. Tavi also utilized his connections to secure parking and entry into additional sites. We stopped for a wonderful Romanian meal on the way home and was able to learn more
about Tavi’s life. Tavi was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and made the trip very enjoyable. We would strongly recommend using Tavi for any tours within Romania.

Day Trip to Brasov, Peles, and Bran
Four of us took an all day tour to Brasov, Peles Castle, and Bran Castle. Our guide was Traian, and he was awesome! He kept us informed of the morning pickup time and the itinerary throughout the day. He is very smart in Romanian history and was sure to explain the history of each stop on our trip. Traian has a great and friendly personality, and he made the day much more enjoyable. The scenery was amazing too!
