Bogdan was an excellent guide. Helped several passengers sort out issues that arose along the way. The mini bus was comfortable and there was excellent communication and organization throughout. Neither castle is extremely beautiful from the outside, and Bran castle is a relative drab affair inside as well, with some hokey Dracula exhibits at the top and a lot of tacky Dracula commodification outside as well. None of that, however, is the fault of the tour company and everyone visiting Peleş and Bran Castles would have the same experience. Braşov is absolutely gorgeous, and all three stops deserve more time than a one-day trip allows. But again, that’s not the fault of the tour company, which made it absolutely the best experience possible, and managed to fit it all within 13 enjoyable hours.

This tour has essentially three stops. Peles Castle for 1.5 hours; Braşov for 2 hours; Bran Castle for 1 hour. I cannot fault the tour guide or comfort of transport but the time balance is wrong. Bran offered a lovely village, shopping opportunities etc in addition to the castle tour but we had to run around the castle and back to the minibus with there only being an hour given. It isn’t enough. A rebalance of time is needed to get 2 hours at Bran.

Our guide Serban Riga was absolutely amazing! Very Knowledgeable, funny, helpful. He was also a great communicator. Letting us know our meeting times and sending reminders along the way.

The excursion was just right in terms of scope and duration. One of the pickup points was just a few minutes' walk from our hotel. We started on time and reached Peles Castle at the previously mentioned time. We had already purchased the tickets in advance. The tour of the castle (worth seeing!) then took place without our guide. We had sufficient time for the tour, after which we continued for about three-quarters of an hour by minibus to Brasov. There we had 2 hours of free time, or one could join the guide for a one-hour walk. Then we continued briefly to Bran Castle, where we also had sufficient time (with the full program including the Time Tunnel and torture chamber, however, it was almost too tight). During the three-hour return trip, there was also a short stop at a gas station. All in all well organized, sufficient time available, and the travel time passed quite quickly due to all sorts of stories and explanations from our guide Narcis.

Alternating excursion, but a long bus ride, which was almost 1.5 hours longer on the return trip in the evening due to traffic problems.

It’s a long day but definitely worth it. Left at 8am and was back by 9pm. Narcis was a fantastic tour guide. Very knowledgeable with a lot of information to share. Speakers on the bus were a bit muffled so sometimes found it hard to hear what was being said. Peleş castle and Bran castle are quite different but both very interesting and beautiful. We bought entry tickets in advance, we arrived on time for Peleş castle and it was easy to change the time for Bran castle as we arrived earlier than the ticket we had. The old town square of Braşov is lovely, we had an hour for lunch then Narcis gave us a one hour walking tour which was very informative. Lots of hairpin bends so would recommend travel sickness pills if you’re not a good traveller. Very glad to have done a small bus tour, we were ahead of the big bus tours so didn’t have to face big queues at the castles for entry. Highly recommended.

A long day but worth the effort. Peles Castle was exceptional, Bran castle was a good experiance. The guide provided useful and detailed advice and explanation. The transport was comfortable and the scenery on the journey very nice.

The tours of Pele;scand Bran Castle were interesting ' and the city of Brasov was a pleasure to visit. Tour guide Serban was both funny and knowledgable and kept the tour on time.

Thorough, well organized. A little difficult to hear clearly in the van. Tour guide kept us on time.
