Please read till the end! I booked this private tour to enjoy peles and bran castle but as Mircea (the owner) wasn’t available, he sent another guide to take me on this trip. Little did I know, the guide was biased against ladies and perhaps people from other cultures. I was rushed through the entire trip and I was very unhappy as the tour was costly. This guide (Valerica) used passive aggressiveness and also very unkind words and thus, if anyone books other tours with this name, please be wary! On the way back to Bucharest, I texted Mircea to share with him what happened and he was so open to comments and opinions which I was very grateful for. To make up for it, he managed to secure me a very very knowledgeable guide for the Jewish heritage tour which I absolutely enjoyed! Then, he asked if he could have coffee and we did, I feel that sometimes, different guides suit different people and Valerica just didn’t suit me. However, I must commend mircea’s sincerity and I have no bad feelings about the company at all. He was very very nice to offer me ride to the airport and I’m very grateful for the kindness he has shown. He has very good guides but Valerica was just an anomaly for me. Please continue to book with Mircea and he does amazing private tours which I would love to return to Romania to do! Thank you once again!

Alex was genuinely excited to take us around România. He is also very knowledgeable with regard to Romanian history. Communication is excellent as was his flexibility to stop and experience authentic Romanian cuisine. Highly recommended!!

Absolutely fantastic experience! Learned a lot of Romanian history and ate some traditional Romanian food. Each castle is a unique experience and well worth the trip.

Long day but definitely worth it - Really enjoyed the experience. Both Castles very different from other castles we had seen, wish we had more time in the town of Brasov, lunch was excellent. Our guide Laura was very knowledgeable and passionate about Romania and its history. She suggested we buy skip the line tickets definitely worth the small upcharge. Transportation was a large van, while not a Mercedes as advertised, it was comfortable.

Great tour to explore Transylvania to see the countryside from the farmland to the mountains and the incredible castles of Peles and Bran. We enjoyed the City of Brasov and lunch in the square. Our guide Laura was fun, knowledgeable and provided great information on the history of Romania. Romania is a fascinating and beautiful country to explore.

The best part of our tour was our lovely guide Roxana. She had a great knowledge of the history of Romania, politically and culturally and historically. A fantastic day in good company, made the ride between sights educational and entertaining. We wish we had more days that we could spend in company with Roxana and her inexhaustible knowledge. We will definitely return and will make use of this company!

The experience of our driver/agent was amazing; about regional and folklore history. Alin was very polite and conscientious of our welfare. Transylvania was fantastic!

It was a great tour. Alin was very knowledgeable and provided a great experience. There is a fair amount of walking and stair climbing involved so one should be prepared for that. We chose to cut the Brasov part short just because it had been a long day abs we were exhausted, but there was probably much more to see. How often do you get a chance to see dracula's castle??

Mircea was incredibly knowledgeable (on history, culture, languages, etc.), thoughtful, warm, and accommodating. He truly cares about his guests, which makes all the difference! He made my two-day visit of Romania (covering Bucharest, Brasov City, Peles Castle) a truly delightful and memorable experience.

It was a nice experience to travel. The the tour guide was wonderful and gives us a lot time and explained everything. I will recommend it
