Dayan was our tour guide and he was a wealth of information. He explained that we were doing the tour in reverse, due to daylight, and we all thought it worked out great. He let us take our time at each location and gave a lot of info about the location before we went to explore it. I really liked seeing sights on Iceland that I probably would not of seen without going on an excursion. I even forgot my glasses in his van and he graciously returned them to me the next day.

The area was outstandingly beautiful, remote and with little tourists. It was so interesting to learn of the recent eruptions the way this had affected the local people and understand the efforts made to alleviate further disaster. To see the lava flow and land form was incredible. Deijan our guide was able to share so much information about the eruptions and surrounding areas. He was excellent company and we would highly recommend this tour as an alternative to the golden circle. With amazing ocean views too.

Deyan was our tour guide for a tour that was booked last minute. We had been to Iceland two years ago and had booked two other tours for our stay. Deyan started our tour with us telling him where what we had already seen in Iceland so he could put together a plan that provided new things to visit. He exceeded our expectations! Took us to sites we probably would have never seen if it was not for his quick planning! He is a great guide who likes to share historical information about things in Iceland. It was a thoroughly enjoyable day! Be sure to ask for Deyan as your guide.

Farook picked 5 of us up at our hotel on time and with our luggage for drop off at the cruise port after the tour. At our first stop, Kleifarvatn Lake we asked Farook a question, he replied “Sorry, I don’t speak the language”. This was a surprise since I had been messaging in English with Deyan about details for our trip. During the tour we made a couple of turn arounds as driver didn’t seem to know where he was going. We were able to see all the sites we wanted, but we would have liked some commentary, history and information from our driver. They did accommodate our request to adjust the start time and cruise port drop off which was a big help.

Our pickup was on time at the cruise terminal and Deyan was a very safe driver. He gave us a lovely tour and dropped us at the airport for our flight home.
