Robyn is an amazing, fun guide who has deep knowledge on not only the adorable cats of Iceland, but of Icelandic history and culture as well. She was beyond sweet and patient with our questions, funny and quite charming. My friend and I had the pleasure of having her all to ourselves which made the experience feel very personalized and like we were meeting with a new friend.
This tour was so fun, we got lucky with a nice warm day, blue sky's. We were able to see the adorable city cats. Our guide was a certified cat lover, dressed really cute and was very knowledgable about the famous city cats!
We went on the Cat Walking Tour with Esther E and it was wonderful! She is so knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Loved every minute and would highly recommend this tour to any cat lover!
Our guide Lauren was a great storyteller! In addition to meeting the local cats, we were treated to the history of cats on Iceland, as well as other fascinating bits of history that I had not heard anywhere else.
The communication from the tour company was excellent and detailed. A link to the meeting location was included for ease of meeting. We had booked the wrong day, and they were able to accommodate a change. Lauren was personable, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. She is a good story teller and engages the group. While searching for cats, she weaved in history of Reykjavik and Iceland. The coffee/cocoa stop with donuts came at the perfect time. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and recommend it to others who love cats.
Such a fun tour and a must for any cat lover. Our guide Lauren was great and really brought the cat lore to life. A fun way to learn the city's history and of course, meet the resident cats!

Lauren is an amazing guide with a wealth of knowledge.. which includes the cats around Reykjavik!!! We booked the tour for the day we arrived in town and it was a perfect way to see the town and meet some cool cats. She knows where they hang out and if they’re not in their regular space, she knew we’d eventually run into them. Great tour… thank you!!!
As cat/culture lovers we were really excited about this tour and learning more about Reykjavik but tbh this one definitely... fell flat. Not because it was a gorgeous day (and hence many of the shop cats were understandably prowling out and about and not in their normal spots—we totally get that) but because our guide felt pretty green/uncomfortable and not wholly prepped for the tour. That said, as both my partner and I have been tour guides in the past, we know it's really hard work; we just wish it had been better mapped out and less "fluffy" (no pun intended).
