An amazing tour. A great guide. Went the extra mile to make our trip unique and privide extra insight into the historical context of American and German memorials and much more. From Vercingetorix to the landing at Normandy. There was a lot to see and discuss. It was only the tip of the iceberg.

Someone we met in Paris recommended we book with this tour group when we toured Normandy and we are SO glad we did. We got 110x more our of our trip to the D-Day sites with our guide Rafael than we would have alone. We did the 4hr tour. Rafael picked use up right at our hotel then we went to the American cemetery, then Pointe du Hoc, then Omaha beach. She had so many facts and stories and really tied everything together. The best part is she was so enthusiastic about history. You can tell she loves what she does. I highly recommend this company and especially Rafael!

This was a fantastic tour! We spent over three weeks touring London, Spain, Portugal, and Paris, and this was the highlight of our trip! Our guide Noe was exceptional and had such an amazing depth of knowledge, so very impressive. He had a great sense of humor and told all the amazing stories that you don't really hear about. The transportation was very comfortable for a long day of touring Normandy. We stopped and had a great lunch in Sainte Mere-Eglise halfway through to the day. We saw all the major sites and it was just incredible. The cost for a private tour was definitely worth it to have flexibility and the personal attention in a small group. We were a group of 6, Army Veterans and Paratroopers, so it was even more incredible for us and to hear all the amazing stories Noe told us that we did not know already. Don't hesitate to book this tour, with this company. I hope you get Noe as a guide, he was truly amazing! *Bring water or snacks, wear shoes that are comfortable and can walk on the beach. Check the weather, it was windy and chilly on the beach in Aug.

Noe was an incredible guide! His knowledge was so incredibly impressive! He was funny, had excellent stories, and made the tour better than we could ever have expected. We saw all the sites in our block of time and had the best time. We were a group of Army Veterans and Paratroopers, so we even more so appreciated Noe's amazing tour. The cost of a private tour was definitely worth it and would highly recommend this company. We have already talked about returning again for a longer stay and more tours, but only if Noe can be our guide again! Thanks for an awesome experience!

Our tour with Private Van Tour with Raphaelle on July 20, 2026, was everything our group of seven could have hoped for and more. The van was roomy and had great air conditioning, with plenty of room for an eight person. Despite us being late to our meeting point, which was our fault and not Raphaelle’s fault at all, she was determined to make sure we saw every single planned stop on the tour itinerary. We saw Utah Beach, Point Du Hoc, Saint Mere Eglise, Omaha Beach and the American Cemetery. We also stopped for lunch at a wonderful local bakery, to get sandwiches after seeing Saint Mere Eglise. She was also kind enough to allow us a few minutes to run in the gift shop at the Overlord Museum before heading to our last stop at the American Cemetery. She got us to the American Cemetery at the perfect moment, we were given the opportunity to witness the flag ceremony, which was incredibly touching to see. It was a wonderful and touching way to end our trip and cruise. Her generosity, kindness, passion, and enthusiasm for the history of her country, our countries’ shared history, and the soldiers who sacrificed their lives on these beaches and throughout the French countryside are truly touching. As family members of an American World War Two veteran of the 116th Infantry 29th division, one who was only months shy of landing on Omaha Beach on June 6th, seeing all of these places was incredibly touching but also emotional. We are so thankful we got you as our tour guide. Thank you again, Raphaelle for allowing my family and I to mark something off our bucket list and to wrap up our vacation in such a meaningful way.

Thomas picked us up at our hotel in Bayeux and took us on an amazing tour of Utah and Omaha beaches. He was so knowledgeable about the area and World War II history. I can't say enough good about him shed the tour. Would definitely book again!
