70th Birthday Treat by friends
Unfortunately the pavement was being dug up, so the starting point was very noisy. However this is not temporary. Magnificent Merlot our witch was entertaining and very knowledgeable. Lots of history and folklore. Our small group visit York regularly but learnt many new historic facts.

Spellbinding!
Haven’t been to York for many years. A friend recommended this tour. We were sceptical… £17! However, it’s worth every penny. Nutmeg is amazing. We had a brilliant time. Totally immersive. Engaging. Full of fun and lots of history. Do it!

Witch Nutmeg was absolutely brilliant! Her storytelling and enthusiasm were second to none. The rain didn’t dampen her spirits and we had a wonderful time. Thank you

Amazing Tour with Witch Nutmeg
Definitely an unmissable experience when in York! Witch Nutmeg brought the history of the town alive, and was incredibly entertaining - thank you Nutmeg for such a great tour!

A magical witchy experience in York
Over one hour well spent with our witchy guide Nutmeg. The tour was historically informative and fun .Superbly narrated by Nutmeg . We would highly recommend.

Loved the witchy energy of this tour!
LOVED IT!!!! We are not typically a tour family but for sheer entertainment, historical info and energy this tour was absolutely worth it. Witch Nutmeg was witty and amusing, and kept the whole group engaged with her dramatic tales which made us feel like we were getting inducted into some kind of magical circle. As a mother of daughters I felt horrified by some of the stories of the past, and also inspired that we could do with some witchy feminist energy in our present too!!! A brilliant activity to do on a York trip - thanks Nutmeg!

A great way to see York
My wife and I enjoyed our walk around Shambles while our tour guide - Cornelius? - educated us on York's gruesome history. Cornelius was an excellent tour guide who kept us entertained the entire way!

Recommended!
Witch Nix was amazing and a treasure! So thoughtful to bring water for everyone because it was so hot. We had been walking around for a few days but heard and saw a lot of new stuff, so nicely brought. Recommended!
