The tour with Simon was a good introduction to the city of Marseille. We spent a lot of time walking by or looking at shops, which was fine for a basic orientation for later purchasing, but I had hoped for a bit more history of the city. Simon is new to this tour process and has only lived in Marseille for one year, but is enthusiastic and friendly and I imagine he will only get better with time.
Danielle was an incredible guide. Having an intimate group of just four people made the experience feel relaxed and personal. Danielle was exceptionally knowledgeable, pointing out top sights alongside great hidden spots around town that we never would have discovered on our own. Highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting a genuine feel for the city!
We enjoyed our tour with Andrea. She arrived promptly, was friendly, spoke excellent English, walked at our gentle pace, showed us sites with explanations about Marseille’s history, and sent us off with restaurant recommendations. Excellent tour.

I booked this tour the day of the activity with little research due to the high rating. Many things added up to a less than optimal tour. Guide was late, spoke at a very low volume, didn't lead the group, gave very little information and seemed more interested in our vacation plans than providing us with an informative tour. She was very nice but not the engaging personality that usually leads tours. We could have walked the same path ourselves and googled a few things for free and got the same tour.

Our guide was lovely and very knowledgeable about Marseilles. I would warn you that we walked quite a fair distance including some challenging hills and cobbled streets, so I wouldn't recommend this tour for anyone with mobility issues. I enjoyed seeing parts of the city we never would have recognized or experienced. She was also kind enough to take us to our wine tasting venue personally as it was a bit difficult to find (but well worth it!).
