I was a Great experience. Wasn’t a lot of walking distance between places. Tour guide was amazing. Very patient and friendly. Lots of sit down time also. Nice and relaxing.

Our guide, Jean Rambert, was excellent. He and his wife owned a restaurant, so Jean is more than qualified to share his favorite restaurants and food choices with us! We went to five locations with a short walk in between each stop. It was excellent!!! Coincidentally our group of 12 were all people from our cruise ship, even though we all booked separately. We were given clear instructions where the meeting point was, including pinned on a map and Jean’s photo. The restaurants were ready for our arrival, we were served very quickly with the “small bites” that were ordered in advance. Three restaurant stops for savory local foods and two stops for sweets. We enjoyed food, wine and finished with cookies and pastries! Jean is an excellent guide, very knowledgeable about culinary arts, and also the fascinating history of Marseille which was founded 600 B.C. - the oldest city in France! We have a lovely day with our group and Laura our guide. She walked us along the city highlights and neighborhoods and introduced us to 3 salty tastings and 2 sweet. We also enjoyed local wines and a specialty drink from the area. This tour is perfect of you want something different yet still enjoy the flavors of Marseille. Highly recommend Laura as your guide.

We had a lovely tour today with Lauren. Wanted something different and this was perfect. Lauren did a wonderful job explaining the different aspects of Marseilles as we tasted 3 salty dishes and 2 sweet ones. We tasted local wines and a specialty drink from the area. It was a small group lovely tour and highly recommend.

Jean was a wonderful guide to the city and was very knowledgeable about the history, buildings and the food. The food was amazing and larger bites that we expected!

There are many stops and a lot of food. the guide was lovely. We enjoyed our tour. We were on a cruise, it was easy to find our guide, do the tour, had about an hour to walk around before returning to our ship via taxi .

What a wonderful tour and our guide has so much extra historical info the value we got out of this experience was amazing! Fav tour we did in France hands-down.

Erik and his trainee were great! Erik was very knowledgeable about the history and how food played a role in the city. Ate some great dishes and even got some steps in. Highly recommend.

We had an absolutely wonderful food tour! We visited five different places, and every stop offered delicious, authentic food. Everything we tasted was excellent, and it was such a fun way to experience the local cuisine. Our tour guide, Benjamin, was fantastic! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience enjoyable. He took us to authentic local restaurants that we probably would never have discovered on our own. If you’re looking for a great way to experience the food and culture of the area, we highly recommend this tour—and especially Benjamin as your guide! We would definitely do it again!
