Shirley contacted us in advance with time and location to meet. As it happened, we were the only ones on the morning tour that day, so great to have a personal guide. Shirley was really friendly and knowledgeable and made the tour interesting and enjoyable. There were a few shop and food recommendations as we went and happy to stop for anything we wanted to spend more time at. A lovely experience touring Aix with a wonderful guide. Only advice would be to do it earlier in your stay!

Shirley is a delight! Her enthusiasm and knowledge of Aix history comes through thoughtfully and clearly. The walking tour was interesting shared how the city has evolved from Roman occupation to French Revolution and now as an important hub of culture and education. Least not forget Paul Cezanne’s role in cubism! Highly recommend Shirley and her tour.

It was really great, the city is amazing and Angelica made us feel a lot about the history and the culture. I enjoyed knowing cultural facts and visiting nice places like the Cour Mirabeau, Place de Resistance, etc. The Church at the end was cherry on top, I didnt know it was built in 1300 YEARS!! This tour was one of the greatest of my life. And at the end we listened to a choir from the church practicing, it was really amazing.

I had a wonderful experience exploring Aix-en-Provence on this guided tour. Our guide, Angelica, was excellent—knowledgeable, engaging, and genuinely passionate about the city’s history. She made every stop feel meaningful and brought the stories of Aix to life in a way that was both informative and enjoyable. The itinerary was perfectly curated. We walked along the beautiful Cours Mirabeau, admired the elegance of the Hôtel de Caumont, and stopped at the charming Fontaine des Quatre-Dauphins. Angelica guided us through Saint-Jean-de-Malte and the hidden Passage Agard, adding fascinating historical context along the way. We also visited Place des Prêcheurs, explored the old Jewish quarter, and learned about the rich heritage surrounding the Town Hall. The highlight for me was the Cathedral Saint-Sauveur, where Angelica’s explanations really helped me appreciate its architectural and historical significance. Overall, this tour was a perfect mix of history, culture, and atmosphere. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Aix-en-Provence, especially with a guide like Angelica who truly elevates the experience.
