This is a wonderful way to get a taste of the natural beauty of Maui, regardless of age! Our guide, Yvonne, was knowledgeable, pleasant, conscientious, and patiently kind with us older folks ( in our 60s and 90s). We saw many hidden gems that would have been missed if we had driven the road ourselves, including hidden waterfalls, rainbow eucalyptus trees, a cacao farm, a delicious ice cream stand, a black sand beach, a red sand beach, and a beach filled with giant sea turtles. What was also impressive was Yvonne’s ability to navigate the narrow roads and single- lane bridges with competent dexterity. All in all, it was a very pleasant and informative day, and we certainly appreciate Maui more now!

We were able to tailor the tour for our needs and our tour guide was amazing. Thank you Danielle you really made the trip amazing. We didn’t feel rushed and every time we made a change, you didn’t blink an eye and was able to accommodate each and every change! You are wonderful!!

Our guide Caroline made the day awesome! She was very knowledgeable and took us to some great sites! She made sure we had everything we needed. She picked up our banana bread order and even had a knife and cutting board on the ready so we could enjoy as we traveled the Road to Hana. She was so thoughtful and personable. It felt like a member of our family was along for the ride!

Absolutely had a blast! This was definitely a once in a lifetime experience for me and my sister. A private tour is definitely the way to go. Our guide, Yvonne, and the gentleman she was training were amazing.

This was the best experience we have ever had! Yvonne was amazing, she tailored our experience to exactly what we wanted to do. She was knowledgeable and very personable. My two teens loved the bamboo forest, swimming in a waterfall and black sand beach! Best money spent! Plus not driving ourselves allowed all of us to enjoy it!

Our guide Te’a was amazing! We learned so much about the history of the road, the plant-life, the falls, everything. Saw so many beautiful falls and beaches. Great local stands and awesome lunch! I would 100% recommend. By the end of the day Te’a felt like one of the family and we can’t wait to plan our next trip to Maui so we can do it all again!

My family of 4 (with two teenagers) had a fantastic day. Jackie was our guide for the full day and she catered our tour to our interests. We didn't know what we wanted to see and do, but Jackie took care of us! We were able to do a little of everything. Sampling cocoa, roadside stand with amazing banana bread and coffee, black and red sand beaches with a swim in the ocean, and swimming at the base of a waterfall. The stops we made were not overcrowded with large tour groups. While the road is very curvy, Jackie's drove so well not one of us was car sick (and two of us easily get motion sickness). Towels, snacks, bandaids, drinks were all provided. A well planned, comfortable trip. Truly an amazing experience. If you are visiting Maui, this is a must do tour.

Amazing tour! So glad we booked this and left the driving to them! We had been on Oahu 5 days before this and my husband was frustrated from traffic there so we were glad to sit back and enjoy the ride and all the experiences along the way!

The Road to Hana Tour was our FAVORITE excursion on our trip to Maui! Our guide, David, aka “Shirtless Dave” was amazing!
