Alec was great! He took us on beautiful trails that we would have never found on our own - not crowded and very secluded! We were able to swim in waterfalls, hike through bamboo forest, had great local food along the way, and he was very attentive to what we wanted to do throughout our tour. If we said we wanted to do something - he knew a spot! This was our favorite experience of our trip to Maui. If you're thinking about doing a Road to Hana tour, book with Alec!!

Alec gave us an awesome experience on our road to Hana trip. It was super nice to have such an experienced driver with lots of local knowledge so we could look out at everything without worrying about driving. We took a few small hikes that you would not know anything was there like the bamboo forest trail to a waterfall. He worked very hard to take some amazing photos of us from unique angles, and poses that will help us remember the day. He also had lots of knowledge of the plants to answer our questions. Overall an excellent experience and higly recommended.

If you want a private our that is fun and different, book Alec. He made our day so much fun. We went off the beaten path to see amazing views and stopped at some fun spots along the way for treats. Alec has been doing this tour for 30 years. He knows his stuff. Can’t go wrong with this one!!

Our day with Alec was amazing, he knows this mountain intimately, pretty sure he can drive it with his eyes closed, took us to many waterfalls, black sand beach (off the beaten path) and the bamboo forest, and much more he was knowledgeable, helpful to others driving the road and a great time, Alec made sure my husband and I got the most of this once in a lifetime experience! He also does the MOST to get that amazing photo of you, I’m talking running up the road to get to the other side to photo you with the most amazing background he was a lunatic in the very BEST way and made our road to Hana trip! There’s no way we would have enjoyed it like we did if we drove ourselves. Plenty of bathroom breaks and he even got us Auntie Sandy’s banana bread and some Hawaii golden pineapple on the way ❤️ if you’re thinking of booking this tour with Alec the answer is YES do it ! This trip and Alec will be etched in our memories and our hearts forever!
