Fantastic experience! Everything was very well organized and the horses were all great! They provided everything needed. Small group and it seemed like a good value for the time and level of service and care provided. A unique experience that I will never forget!

This is a must do excursion. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed riding horses on the lava fields. The guided were very helpful and the horses were terrific. One of the best things we did during our stay on Iceland.

Overall, I had a very nice experience on today’s riding tour. As an experienced rider, I would have personally preferred a bit more active riding and a slightly faster pace, but the tour was still very successful. The weather was great, and the autumn colors (ruska) in the scenery were absolutely beautiful. Even though there were some less experienced riders ahead of us in the group, my horse responded obediently and performed a smooth tölt whenever I asked. Considering the overall price level, the tour offered great value for money and was a really lovely experience. Highly recommended!

Lovely day, professional and kind guides, lovely horses. Obvious that this was horses that got good care and that the wellbeing of the horses and our safety came first.

The horses were lovely, and the guides picked the right horse for your skill level. They were very friendly and we had a great time riding the horses!

I did the lava tour, it was a lot of fun. Had a great experiance, the guides where really nice as was the tour itself.

The guides were very experienced and very helpful making sure we were all comfortable with or without experience.

I completed this tour with a group of 3 other friends and the experience was excellent! One of the girls is a true horse lover and rides multiple times and weeks a year. Even though this is a trail ride she enjoyed it very much. We also had one friends afraid of horses, she was assigned a gentle horse and did great. After the ride we got to spend time with the horses in their pens. Lots of photos and petting. My horse loving friend was emotional and had the best time! The transfer to and from the city was smoothe, I would advise to be at the pickup spot 15 minutes ahead of the time assigned. Communication was great and the staff was friendly and wonderful!! I highly recommend this if you have the time.

The tour of the lava fields was so much fun and stunning! Beautiful views and the staff were all friendly. We had time before and after the tour for free tea, coffee, and hot chocolate in the building by the stables and were shown a very thorough safety video. The staff asked each of us about our riding experience before starting the tour and matched us with a horse accordingly. The guides were kind and we were able to split into two groups for the tour, one going at a slower walking pace and the other speeding up to a trot. Occasionally during the tour it was a bit hard to hear the guide we were with if we were at the back of the group but everything went smoothly and they were very attentive during the trip! I felt safe and comfortable the whole time. We stopped at one point where the guides could take photos of us on the horses (just on our phones, not an additional paid service) if we wanted which made for nice memorabilia. The pickup and dropoff for the tour from Reykjavík were timely. Overall would highly recommend this activity and Íshestar!

Amazing experience. The horses are beautiful so sweet smart and calm. I was hesitant at first but loved every second of it. Highly recommend it, even if you are not experienced riding horses. The horses are super sweet and calm.
