This was the best, most fun food tour. Our guide Irene was so fun and informative. The food (all Pintxos) were all incredible and so were the drinks. Bilbao has such a rich history. We loved this.
Fabulous food tour. Everything was tasty and drinks were good. Two pinchos and a drink at eat spot. Great way to taste pinchos that you may not have chosen
Great experience, got to try things I’d never have ordered, met lovely people and learned about Basque culture
First night in Bilbao and a great food tour with Irene. Explored the old town via 5 pinxtos bars with fabulous food and wine selections. Enjoyed hearing about the history of the Basque region and nice to meet other people in the group. We revisited some of the locations on our subsequent evenings.
Nice way to get a look at Bilbao old town, try excellent food and local wine. Pintxos were unique (unable to order some of them on later visits) and guide provided enthusiastic insight into Basque culture and regional history.
What a fun tour. Irene was amazing and made the tour so much fun. We ate so much so make sure you come hungry! We went to 5 different venues for pintxos and Irene paired each with a particular wine or cider. So much fun!
This was a spectacular food tour. Jani was our guide and her knowledge and love for the Basque culture made the tour even more meaningful. We had 5 stops with two pintxos and a glass of wine at each. Strongly suggest you try everything … I was very surprised at the things I enjoyed. More than enough food … we were all very full and happy! I would highly recommend especially if you are lucky enough to have Jani as your guide.

Irene is a very enthousiastic person that is born and raised in Bilbao. She has a wealth of knowledge about Bilbao as a city, the culture and food/wine. She selected 5 pinxos places, all very different but of excellent quality. She also accomodates people in case they have an allergy or just don’t like specific dishes. As we will be back in september with another group, we definately consider her again!
Wonderful first night in Bilbao! Informative, fun, and delicious — the perfect introduction to the city and Lei did a great job navigating my food allergies!
