Irene was amazing ! I would highly recommend this tour while in Bilbao ! She was very enthusiastic and friendly and we ended up going back to all the places she introduced us to on the food tour.
Leire was a fantastic guide! She is clearly very passionate about the culture, food and history and made the tour very enjoyable! I had initially been concerned that we would need to get dinner somewhere afterwards as pintxos are small portions. This was not necessary as we were very satisfied by the end of the evening.
It's is a fun experience and informative. Food and wines are good. Overall 9 out of 10 (no 10 because of steep price point)
This experience was a wonderful way to spend our first and only night in Bilbao. Our tour guide, Irene, brought us to local spots with incredible food and drinks to go with each bite. Irene was so friendly and taught us so much about her Basque culture. She even sent us a long list of recommendations for the next stop on our trip (: Highly recommend this experience, even with 110 degree heat wave temps!
Irene is so knowledgeable of local culture, customs, and history, it was fantastic learning more about the area while discovering new dishes. So many of the pintxos were from the kitchen, which made it feel unique and special.
What a wonderful experience! Incredibly informative and tasty. We were delighted to visit 5 traditional establishments, where at each we tasted 2 different pintxos and a curated beverage, all expertly directed and hosted by Lei, our exceptional host. She was effortless and hilarious in equal measure. What a legend. Would recommend highly. J and E.
Leire was our guide and she was fabulous. The drinks and pintxos at every stop were remarkable. They also allowed changes for both food and drinks should a person want something different . We had a great group and with Leire as our leader there was no way to not have fun! The tour was well worth the money and I highly recommend it.

Lei was a fabulous guide. Not only was she authentic in her knowledge of Basque culture and the local food, she was thoughtful in the restaurants, wine, and pincxos chosen. She made an effort to get to know everyone and made everyone feel welcome and engaged. The food was outstanding from simple traditional to fusion. I would highly recommend this tour its worth it and maybe you will be lucky enough to have Lei like we did and it will be extra special.
Wonderful dishes: fish stew, chorizo starter, fabulous ribeye steak and Basque Brioche bread and butter pudding and wines. We enjoyed preparing it greatly together with our friends and Michael our first date chef with amusing stories. Highly recommended.
