Perfect way to start your travels in a new city. Irene was our guide. She engaged with all of us and made the tour lots of fun. Food and wine sampling were bountiful and we did not walk away hungry!

Our tour guide, Irene, made all the difference! I love that she's a local, truly from Bilbao. She is so proud and passionate about the Basque culture. Love hearing about history and background of the food we ate. The 3 hours went by so fast. Highly recommend this tour! It's a lot of good food and drink, so come hungry!

It's a lot of food and wine so come hungry! You will try some modern pintxos in addition to traditional ones. Have an open mind. Irene, our tour guide, was excellent. I love how she's local, a true Basque native, so passionate about and proud of the Basque country she clearly loves. Her energy is infectious.

Leire was our guide - highly recommend doing this tour and requesting Leire - the entire experience was 5 stars. Our family will typically do a food tour every time we travel (we like to travel) and we unanimously agreed this now ranks as our all-time best experience. Leire is passionate about the Basque culture, super knowledgeable, and shared a wealth of information and the local history and culture with humor and enthusiasm. The food and beverage selections were fabulous. This tour was a little pricier than some of the others we were looking at, but 100% worth it, as the caliber of pintxos and beverages was amazing, along with a top notch guide.

A well-organized tour that provided a great mix of foods, drinks, and information about the city. Irene was a wonderful host — she made a point of chatting with everyone individually, kept things moving without ever rushing anyone, and provided great local expertise and recommendations. We got a diverse mix of pintxos and healthy pours of local wine and cider, all at restaurants/bars full of character and history.
