An absolutely fantastic tour of Herculaneum with Luciano Leone at Askos Tours! It is such an incredible place, and so well preserved, in fact many buildings are much better preserved than at the much bigger Pompeii site!
Luciano is an incredible guide, a fountain of knowledge and all presented with relentless enthusiasm, showering us with fascinating details and fact about the site and its history , and injecting a little humour here and there along the way!
Couldn’t recommend any more highly - a fabulous tour!

Amazing Luciano
We had a lovely tour with Luciano Leone an amzing archeologist who was both educational and entertaining. We were able to see all the highlights while learning about fun hidden details. 100% recommend this tour of Herculaneum!

A great tour
Very Knowledgeable archaeologist guide. Value for money. Would suggest doing the tor separate from the Pompeii tri - as easier on the legs! Where comfy shoes !

Use tour as introduction
Very much liked that when the tour ended you could still go explore the site on your own. The museum was quick but very worthwhile. So consider the tour an introductory orientation then spend some more time satisfying your interests. Sara was a fantastic guide.

Luciano is the number one guide
We had the great pleasure of having Luciano Leone as our guide. His passion and knowledge of the site is second to none, he lives and breathes the place and adds excellent humour along the way. He packed a hell of a lot into the 2 hours, would highly recommend.

Very insightful tour, Gennaro was amazing!
A perfect amount of time to spend viewing Ercolano. Gennaro was an amazing guide and you could tell that he has a true passion for the history. He showed us all of his favorite parts of the site, and answered any question that someone may have had.

Travel guide was very helpful, and suggested we do it on our own and supplied entry tickets
What an amazing site, even without the guide
