My 14-year-old and I loved the tour of the moors with Kevin. He was a great guide, funny, local to York, and filled us in on history and knowledge of the moors as we drove and took some back roads that were unexpected because of road closures. It was a lovely tour and we got to get out and take pictures on the moors, see the Byland Abbey, stop in Helmsley for a walk and a snack. Lovely afternoon and very picturesque landscape.

It was a lovely...
It was a lovely afternoon, just the right amount of time to be away from the city. Our tour guide, Kevin, was knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed our time with him.

North Yorkshire half day tour
Wonderful tour of the countryside with a very knowledgeable and entertaining guide.

Pleasant day in the moors
We spent a very pleasant half day seeing the Yorkshire moors. Our driver Ben was very knowledgeable and pointed out lots of wildlife and flowers prevalent in the landscape. We were the only two who signed up for this tour so Ben made several stops for us to take photos and took a different way back to York to show us a thousand year old church still hosting services. Highly recommend this if you only have a few hours to spend in the moors.
