Miguel and Jose (Chepe) were very friendly and professional and very knowledgeable about the sites. In particular Chepe’s knowledge of Mayan history/culture. Despite challenging weather conditions it was overall a great trip to experience different things in and around Tulum.
The guide Rocio was wonderful in her attention and explanations, very attentive at all times

The excursion was absolutely worth it, we were able to swim with some sea turtles, the ruins in Tulum were impressive, and swimming in the cenotes was very beautiful. Freddy and Raul were super tour guides!

We did the turtle sanctuary excursion at akumal bay and visited the fresh water cenotes that ended with a beautiful buffet lunch at the end. Our trip guide was Jose or “Cheppie” and he was wonderful, very informative regarding the local history, Mayan customs and even the food! We had Charlie for the snorkeling portion and we saw plenty of turtles and fish among the reefs. It was really special with Charlie giving us as much information as he could about the things we were seeing. It was a an all day excursion so there was a fair amount of walking but nothing crazy just something to be aware of. I would highly recommend this excursion and especially Ekinox Tours, they were fantastic!!

Since it is about nature, it is unpredictable. When I went, the water was a bit murky and I saw two or three turtles at different times, so the cost-benefit ratio depends on luck, but the experience is worth it because it is very beautiful.

In both cenotes, we didn't just find beautiful places—we discovered absolutely magical settings. Lunch brought us the flavors of the region and the Mayan ceremony was, without a doubt, one of the most intense and special moments of the entire experience: authentic, profound, and unforgettable. And the ending was simply perfect: swimming with turtles in their natural habitat. One of those moments when everything seems to stop and we know, the instant it happens, that it will stay in memory forever. But what made this day truly exceptional was Kauil. Your knowledge, your passion, the way you communicate, and the care with which you accompanied us made all the difference. It didn't just show us places—it made us understand, feel, and live each one of them. It was culture. It was nature. It was emotion. It was discovered.
