I should’ve known based on the lack of reviews but this didn’t even provide what was described. It was essentially a car service to drive us to and from the Catacombs. The catacombs were very interesting but they just put us in the general tour. We also did not have any skip the line as described at the Castel and our guide gave an average tour there. We were left to our own devices for a good part of the middle of the tour after being dropped off at a square. Overall it wasn’t a completely horrible experience it just wasn’t worth what we paid.

Thank you for sharing your feedback about your recent Hidden Rome: Castel Sant'Angelo, Appian Way, and Catacombs Private Tour. We sincerely regret that your experience did not meet your expectations and would like to address the points you raised.
Considering the Jubilee Year and the opening of the Holy Gates, Rome has been especially busy, which may have impacted certain elements of the tour. To clarify:
The Catacombs tour is conducted by Vatican-appointed guides, including priests, as they are the official custodians of these sacred sites. This arrangement ensures the highest level of historical and religious expertise during the visit.
For Castel Sant'Angelo, skip-the-line access can sometimes be affected during high-traffic periods, especially during special events in Rome. We strive to minimize any delays, but we understand your frustration and apologize for any inconvenience caused.
The private guide and driver were at your disposal throughout the day, and we regret that this was not adequately communicated or organized to your satisfaction. Your feedback is valuable, and we will ensure clearer coordination in the future to avoid any confusion or downtime during tours.
We aim to provide enriching and seamless experiences, and it’s clear we fell short of your expectations on this occasion. Please reach out to us directly so we can better understand your concerns and work to make amends.
Thank you again for your feedback—it helps us improve and better serve our guests.
