Fantastic experience and tour. Alex, our guide was super informative and entertaining. Our separate guide for the catacombs was also very good. Not claustrophobic at all.

Antonella was our guide. We were highly pleased with her historical knowledge. She is passionate about the topics which made the tour and learning the history exciting. She took us to the best views of the aqueducts. The catacombs tour was amazing. Not gruesome or scary. There are archaeological details preserved nearly perfectly from 200 AD!! We were pleasantly surprised that part of the tour is taken by a very clean and comfortable transport. Not nearly as much difficult walking as we anticipated. She was also helpful directing us to transportation afterwards. Antonella went above and beyond. We highly recommend Antonella and this tour!

AnnaMaria C. of takewalks was a wonderful tour guide. Easy going, full of fascinating information, upbeat, kept a good pace, and involved all the group. Her depth of knowledge was truly impressive. And she was great at answering questions. Francesco, our driver, was very skilled at navigating crazy Roman traffic & friendly. The sites were very interesting. To be able to see the aquaducts up close was very cool, and to actually stand on part of the original Appian Way roadway was special. The catacombs that were on today's itinerary were the Catacombs Santa Domitilla. Our historical tour guide there was an intelligent lady with lovely platinum hair. I'm sorry I didn't write her name down, but she was so full of knowledge not only of the site itself but of Rome's history as well. The tour met our expectations as we love ancient history & architecture.

The meeting point sent to us said Piramide. We left at 1 for a 2:30 tour. Got to where the gos directed us to a building labeled Piramide. It was a metro station and no one there knew where this ticket redemption center was located . We walked all around asking if anyone knew and could not find it. At 2:40 we gave up because the tour would have left and they will not refund! Very disappointing. Would not recommend!

An interesting, informative tour. Easy to find guide at agreed location. It was a very humid day so the air-conditioned coach was welcomed. There were times when the commentary for Appian Way & Aquaducts in the heat was too long, would have been better to walk and listen, tour could have been shorter due to the stopping. Guides were knowledgeable.

Great tour of catacombs and the old Roman road and aquaducts around Rome! Having the minibus was also great to get from place to place. I’d do it again no questions asked
