Vorremmo però chiarire alcuni aspetti dell’escursione. Il tragitto da Porto alla Valle del Douro dura circa 1 ora e 40 minuti e, considerando le fermate panoramiche previste lungo il percorso per ammirare il paesaggio e scattare fotografie, il tempo complessivo trascorso in viaggio può arrivare a circa 2 ore. La Valle del Douro si trova infatti a una certa distanza da Porto e proprio il viaggio attraverso il paesaggio della regione fa parte dell’esperienza. Per quanto riguarda la crociera sul Douro, la barca dispone di un’audioguida disponibile in inglese, portoghese, spagnolo e francese, che permette di conoscere meglio i luoghi e i paesaggi lungo il percorso. Inoltre, trattandosi di un tour condiviso, l’esperienza può naturalmente variare anche in base alla composizione del gruppo e alla possibilità di comunicare e condividere l’esperienza con gli altri partecipanti. In questo caso, la comunicazione tra i diversi membri del gruppo è stata più limitata a causa delle differenze linguistiche, cosa che può influenzare também l’interazione durante le degustazioni e os momentos em grupo. Come riferimento, un altro partecipante dello stesso tour ha successivamente commentato: "We were a little unlucky with our fellow guests since they did not drink wine or port wine, and did not speak English. So I am sure it would have been even better with someone we could talk to and taste together with." We would, however, like to clarify a few points regarding the tour. The journey from Porto to the Douro Valley takes approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes. Taking into account the panoramic stops along the way, allowing guests to enjoy the scenery and take photographs, the total time spent travelling can be around 2 hours. The Douro Valley is located at a considerable distance from Porto, and the journey through the region is an integral part of the experience. Regarding the river cruise, the boat provides an audio guide in English, Portuguese, Spanish and French, which guests can use to learn more about the places and landscapes along the river. As this is a shared tour, the experience can also vary depending on the composition of the group. In this particular case, communication between some participants was more limited due to language differences, which can naturally affect the interaction during the tastings and other shared moments of the tour.
