As two novice ghost hunters Dante set the scene right from the start. He captured our imagination with theatre and wit! A deep knowledge of the history of York . It almost felt like you were involved in a play, such fun and a great way to see a ghostly but vibrant city. Dante effortlessly reported a small fire observed below the cathedral while playing his part, saving the day and possibly the cathedral! Thank you for a really entertaining evening , we loved it!
A trip to York isn't a trip to York without at least 1 ghost walk, so we've done a few beforehand, but this one was definitely one of the more enjoyable. With our guide Daffyd at the helm, it was a decent sized group that out host managed to keep alive for the full duration, while dealing with interlopers that threatened to ruin the experience in a professional manner. After all the walks we've done, there were still new stories that we hadn't heard before, while Daffyd encouraged as all to participate. A mini high-five to our tour guide, and a thumbs-up to the company.
I think our guide was named Dante or something similar. He was amazing, so passionate, spooky and absolutely hilarious. You hit so many cool spots with great stories. Cant recommend this tour enough! Thank you!
It was a great experience and Dalton was amazing. He kept everyone engaged throughout the 90 minutes and the told us some of the most fun ghost stories. Would highly recommend.
Dante was absolutely brilliant! My partner and I had such a great experience and enjoyed every second of the tour. The spooky stories mixed with the dark humour was fantastic. I definitely jumped out of my skin a few times, ahah! I honestly can’t recommend this tour enough, especially if you’re lucky enough to get Dante as your guide. He made the whole experience even better!
This tour with the delightful Delores, gave a truly unforgettable experience, as we walked the streets of ghostly York, we heard stories of ghosts, death and all round hauntism!! And as we learnt of some of Yorks finest spirits I shuddered as 'Sarah' walked behind me!! This was our first day in this fine city and so glad we ended it with this tour, Delores was very informative and humourous and engaging and professional!! 10 out of 10 and highly recommended.
Highly recommend! Spooky, mysterious, tongue in cheek and highly entertaining. Dalton our guide was incredible and couldn’t recommend them more!! Best ghost tour in York!
