I rarely leave negative reviews. Our driver Philip was polite and drove us quickly from our hotel in Arusha to our hotel in Nairobi, but there were a few issues I am going to list as an FYI for the company and future customers. This is more feedback because this would have been a great service apart from the issues noted below. 1. The driver you are told will pick you up may not be the person who actually drives you with no update from the company as to the change of driver before pick up. As a tourist in an unfamiliar place doing a 5+ hour drive and crossing an international border, this is unacceptable. Update your customers on who will be picking them up/actually driving them. 2. Please train your drivers how to handle scammers and give customers a heads up that this may happen so they can prepare. Uniformed security guards at the Tanzania border crossing tried to scam us (even going so far as to tell us that your service was in fact a scam). Our driver actually rolled down a window so a scammer could continue to ask for money after being told no. I think he was as confused as we were to what was happening. The whole situation has us on edge for a large portion of the drive, unsure if the driver was in on some scam or whatever due to lack of explanation/communication on what had happened. 3. Equip your drivers with GPS to get to the destination or give them old school written directions/a map before pickup. I had to use my phone's GPS to navigate to our hotel. Not the driver's fault in my opinion, the car or company should equip him with what he needs to do his job or use a driver who knows the way. Stopping on the side of the road 30 minutes from the destination to figure out directions with another employee is a waste of time and unnecessary delay.

David was our driver. He was knowledgeable, helpful and a careful driver. There was much confusion with our booking, and we regretted that David was not our driver on our return from Arusha to Nairobi.

Totally reliable! We had to change 3 times the schedule and it never was a problem! On time, very clean, good attention and profesionalism. Thank you David and thanks to Chris Mbogo team!

Dealing with Chris to set up the drive from Nairobi to Arusha was perfect. He provided all the necessary information and was reassuring. It was flawless! Our driver David was from Tanzania and he was delightful. Quiet, soft spoken, knowledgeable and informative. The drive was 5 hours but it went quickly. David was quite helpful with the immigrations process at the boarder which can be intimidating. He was calming. I also had another driver the day before who took me to the giraffe center in Nairobi. He too was wonderful. Thank you Chris for the memorable experience.

Car hire booked and paid for 3 weeks in ADVANCE, Upon collection hire company stated they had let it go because I had not collected it within their stated time period. NOTE there is no mention of a stated time period in any of the documentation. They also knew when my fight arrival time was. Hire company stated I would have to pay for another car, guess what - the same car I had paid for 3 weeks prior to this date was available. The car rental company is Flex to go, my advice is avoid both EDreams and Flex to go - Neither are trustworthy companies.

Thoroughly enjoyed using their service. Van had water, wet wipes and hand sanitizer in addition to being very comfortable. Driver also handled all luggage checks at Namanga border with his team who are at the border. He also guided us through the immigration process. I highly recommend their service.
