アルバニアの北西部に位置するシュコドラ市は、バルカン半島で最大の湖にちなんで名付けられた最初の目的地です。千年の居住の歴史を持つ、アルバニアで最も古い都市の 1 つです。シュコドラ城の最も古い城壁は、紀元前 1 千年紀のものです。ローマの歴史家リウィウスは、紀元前 168 年にローマ人と戦ったイリュリア王ゲントの首都としてこの町を挙げました。

Just.myself and the wife ended up going and we had Armir. He was excellent. A fountain of knowledge. We learnt a lot about the history of Algeria on the way there, and lots of stuff about Schkoder castle and it's surroundings. Had a decent lunch at the restaurant. Took a walk. Generally had a blast. Definitely recommend and hope you get Armir like we did.
