The place is fantastic.. the guide Cimi is so helpful and good .. however the say there is a small hike of 10 min .. the bus stopped far way cos it was too hot too small .. ac barely working and the hike ended up 40 minutes and as a sporty man even for me it was not that easy ... but it was worth it ...The views are amazing.. So the Tour is great but the facilities are not ...

This is a great trip with excellent options if you don't want to hike to the top. The brilliant driver took us as far as he could as it was a particularly hot day. The views of the stunning scenery were breathtaking. Our Guide, Antonio was very knowledgeable and shared lots of pertinent information with some humour thrown in too. We had the right amount of time at each stop, including comfort breaks enroute. Both the Guide and Driver were fantastic and I would definitely recommend this trip.

It was a fabulous experience to go to Gamti, though it was hot our tour guide Fjona made sure we had good enough spots to rest and catch a breath. She was so sweet and made sure everyone was comfortable. She also told us a lot about the history and geography of Albania. It was a great experience overall

Great experience! The view is breathtakingly beautiful. It was a very hot day (35-37 degrees) so everyone was very hot but I think that was to be expected. Definitely wear sneakers or hiking shoes even though the hiking part is not very long. The rocks might be slippery and the little pebbles move around easily on the steep hill. Our guide Irena was very friendly, gave clear directions and spoke clearly so we always knew what was to happen and when. She also told interesting things about Albania, it's history and such. Unfortunately the cars ac was not very good, but as it was a hot day I didn't expect to feel very cool either way 😂 the road was very bumpy part of the way but the driver was a pro so I wasn't worried at all.

On the booking and tickets it said pick point at our hotel but never got call or pick up so a wasted day

We booked this 6-hour tour to Bovilla Lake and Gamti Mountain and overall had a fantastic experience. The scenery is absolutely spectacular—the contrast of the rugged canyon walls against the bright turquoise lake is something you have to see in person. The hike up Gamti Mountain is short (about 40 minutes) but quite steep and rocky, so definitely wear proper shoes. The new metal stairs and viewing platform at the top offer breathtaking, panoramic views that are worth every bit of sweat. Our guide was friendly, kept a good pace, and shared some great insights about the area's nature and history. The only reason I'm knocking off one star is that the logistics felt a bit rushed towards the end. The single mountain café at the top gets very crowded, so I highly recommend packing your own water and snacks beforehand to avoid waiting in long lines. Overall, it’s a brilliant, budget-friendly day trip out of Tirana and a must-do if you love the outdoors

Antonio is the best, very good trip

I highly recommend this tour to visit Lake Bovilla. The guide was very warm and made everyone feel comfortable. The lake is beautiful, and there is enough time to enjoy the view, cool off in the river, and order dishes or drinks at a nearby café.
