Eventful, time conscious and overall fun

The experience was amazing. The tour guide, Lavderim had a very good knowledge of both Albania and Montenegro. He also had a good sense of humour which is always a plus. The only downside is, they will not pick you up from your stated location even though they do state they would.

The tour guide Ana was very friendly, helpful, and informative throughout the entire trip. They made sure everyone felt welcome and answered all of our questions. The places we visited were beautiful and well worth seeing. However, the overall journey felt much longer than expected. We had to wait for other passengers at several stops, which caused repeated delays and made the day feel rushed. Better time management would have improved the experience. The biggest downside was the comfort of the bus, especially for such a long tour. The seats were not comfortable enough for spending many hours travelling. Upgrading the buses for longer journeys would make a significant difference. Overall, the excellent tour guide made the experience enjoyable despite the delays and bus comfort.

The bus arrived over five minutes late at the specified pickup location, where I encountered three other tourists who would participate in the day tour to Montenegro. Initially, I was impressed by our tour guide's ability to engage the tourists; she initiated a game for their amusement. The journey to Montenegro was very long. The conclusion of the tour was somewhat disappointing. Our tour guide stated that the bus cannot access the road to drop off tourists at the same location as the pickup due to a protest by the public. She instructed some tourists to take a taxi to reach their hotels. In fact, there was no demonstration. The rain was pouring heavily. We saw taxis and various vehicles driving on that road where our tour guide said it was closed. I asked our tour guide if the bus could drop me off at the same location where they picked me up. She affirmed, "Yes." I can disembark at the location where they collected me. The three tourists I encountered at the pickup point disembarked at a different location. Then the tour guide said to me, "We are unable to drop you off at the same location as the pickup. We refrain from doing so because you are the sole individual to be dropped off at that location. It was not a long detour, only 1 km away from my drop-off location. A minute drive only. She indicated that I may disembark from the bus now. I am amenable to walking provided it is not raining significantly. Heavy rain has nearly flooded the streets. This method is not a proper way of service. I intended to offer a substantial gratuity for the tour guide and driver. However, I changed my mind. This trip was my inaugural visit to Tirana. I disembarked from the bus without knowing first where I was.

Our tour guide, Valeria was outstanding. She provided a very personable experience and was very engaging with everyone on the tour. She was kind and approachable. We would definitely recommend her 100%.
