ヴィーナス神殿: ポンペイの守護女神ヴィーナスに捧げられた神殿
バシリカ: フォーラムで最も豪華な建物であり、ビジネスの管理と司法行政のスペースとして機能しました。
アポロンの聖域: ポンペイの礼拝所の中で最も古いものの一つで、ポルタ マリーナから市の公共中心部に続く通り沿いの戦略的な地点に建てられています。
フォーラム - メイン広場: 都市の日常生活の中心を表します。
ジュピター神殿: フォーラムの北側を占め、その背後には風光明媚なヴェスヴィオ山がそびえています。

Pompeii is larger than you think so there is some walking. There are sidewalk curbs and stepping stones as well. How ever the tour is very fascinating. Earbuds were provided and worked perfectly for us. Our guide spoke English very well and set a good pace. We were forced to leave the tour early in order to catch our bus back to the ship so our guide took time to make sure we knew how to find the exit.

A very engaging tour. Our guide, an archeological expert, was well informed and respectful of this historic site. Seeing Mount Vesuvius, hearing how it, and the landscape, changed after it erupted, was powerful. I got the sense of the terror the people felt as the wrath of the eruption poured down on them and so abruptly changed their lives. And there was much to be learned about how the Romans built and lived in their communities at that time. The importance of the site not being found, and excavation begun, until the 18th century was also made clear. A very informative tour experience!

Lots of walking on very uneven terrain was challenging. But the information and sights made it worth it. Wish I knew how to identify our tour guide when we arrived at the site. This was true for our other Viator tour as well.

I had high expectations for my visit to Pompei and this tour exceeded them! Ricardo was a great guide, giving expert insight into Roman architecture, Pompei city life and details of the eruption and its aftermath.
